I was so excited to get this product based on the other review. And while the glass quality is excellent, no distortions, I'm really disappointed with the "performance", as it were. I can't see the top mirror without having to lean into it - the design of the device is just not right. I have to bend down to use the magnified mirroe (yes, I've extended the arm), which is EXCELLENT and I had hoped I could bring top mirror closer to my face. No go. Didn't check into the return policy first so I'm stuck. Also, the lighting would be nice on the top mirror too, but this is not a "con", just a suggestion!

I have had this mirror for at least 8 years, and I love it. I keep it on a table normally, but it is also easy to hold if I want to take it to the bathroom or the window. Both mirrors are clear and give a sharp reflection. The light is perfect, no shadows. Looks attractive and folds easily. It is not tiny, so I don't travel with it, but you definitely could if you were taking a longer trip with a full-size suitcase. Have dropped this on carpet a few times with no damage.
