Yu-Be
Moisturizing Skin Cream, Jar 2.75 oz (70 g)
$25.00
#1 selling medicated, vitamin enriched skin cream in Japan
A long history. . . It was 1957 when a young pharmacist named Yoshikiyo Nowatari first introduced his now famous moisturizing cream to Japan. His creation was invented at the request of a woman suffering from dry, cracked skin. She was tired of using petroleum-based skin care products that she found to be greasy, messy and ineffective. Since then, generations of families have used this skin cream. In fact, this unique product is so effective, even world-class mountain climbers from Japan use it to protect their skin from the harsh cold, wind, water and sun on expeditions to the top of Mt. Everest. |

A little about my skin: My skin is normally oily/combination skin (oily in the t-zone, normal-dry on the cheeks). My skin is also very sensitive to harsh ingredients. I have mild-moderate acne, and although my skin is very sensitive I came to the point where all I cared about was getting rid of my pimples and I'd treat the redness and dryness afterwards. Sounds very irrational, but it worked. I used a 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide treatment twice a day for about a month. By the end of the month my acne had cleared up completely. I was left with acne scars, redness, and severely dried skin. I knew that although I always complained about my oily t-zone, the only way I'd get rid of my symptoms was to get a thick, emollient rich cream. The cream = Yu-Be. Within the first two days of application (only in the morning), the dryness and flakiness had already started to reduce. Not to mention, it definitely helped to sooth my redness and it evened out my skin from the acne scars. After about a week and a half of using it, I have literally no more dryness or redness. I will be continuing to use this for at least the winter season and I already see this as being my HG for a winter moisturizer. As for my oily/combination skin type, the first three days my t-zone seemed to have been working up it's normal amount of oiliness as it always had, yet I didn't blot at all because I wanted to see if it would produce more than usual. It didn't. A week and a half later it has actually reduced my t-zone oilyness, and instead it leaves just a slight glowy look, even through my foundation, I love it! It also hasn't broken me out, which is another plus! =)

Yuck!
Very heavy, greasy feel-the medicinal smell is not good, either-this product feels tacky on the skin for a long time after application-buy something else!

Comments about Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream, Jar, 2.75 oz:
I have struggled with painful, cracked dry finger tips for many winters. We share our lives with dogs and horses (which means my hands can get very dirty!) and I cook quite a bit for our family (which means my ocd tendencies kick in when I handle raw meats and shellfish!) so I probably wash my hands at least 12-15 times a day. I have tried almost every product under the sun to try to provide relief for my cracker skin and even had to seek out rx cream from my dermatologist (which only helped marginally). I am so glad and grateful that I stumbled across this terrific product...no cracked skin on my hands this winter! The scent does not bother me and I find that it doesn't linger very long. I put the cream on before going to sleep and just before I head out the door to start my day and don't have to worry about moisturizing my hands otherwise. I don't ever want to be without YuBe and would recommend this to anyone who is searching for something to help them attain healthier skin.

Comments about Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream, Jar, 2.75 oz:
I have tried every foot cream out there.....this is by far the best. I cannot, cannot stand when my feet are dry. I noticed a difference the very first time I used this. The only problem I have with it is that it comes in a tub like container and every time I want to get some out it goes under my nails. Other than that it is fantastic.

Comments about Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream, Jar, 2.75 oz:
This product doesn't penetrate very well. I am in Iraq right now and yes, it gets cold here. I had very dry, peeling skin and ordered this to help it. When I applied it, it just spread over my skin, not soaking into it. Didn't help at all.
