Comments about Vincent Longo Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation, Sienna, .4 oz:
I have a hard-to-match skin tone, and in all my decades of wearing makeup, I've only found two brands that offered me a TRUE match. Vincent Longo Water Canvas is one of them. Sienna is my holy-grail foundation shade: absolutely foolproof, perfect color. The shade is rich, without the oxidized orange, chalky brown, or clownish red shades that are usually offered for women of color. The red undertone in Sienna is just right.
The Water Canvas formula is truly a marvel. It's water-based, so it feels light as air on the skin. The makeup looks and feels like whipped Jell-O, and it doesn't clog pores. The high water content means that your skin won't ever feel dry, and it also prevents my skin from becoming overly oily.
The best part is that the coverge is layerable. You can use Water Canvas for a whisper of light, natural coverage on days when your skin is looking good. But back when I was in my mid-twenties, I experienced a nasty bout of severe acne, and during that time Water Canvas was my lifesaver. I packed it on with a foundation brush, and it COMPLETELY covered all of my dark acne scars (hyperpigmentation) while soothing my skin, and looking completely natural. It was a low point in my life, but thanks to Water Canvas, no one ever had to know that I was wearing a face full of makeup to cover my bad skin. My face looked fresh, natural, and the color matched precisely. Yes, it's a bit expensive (and you have to keep the cap screwed on tightly, or else the makeup will dry out in the container) but trust me--it's worth every penny.
