Comments about Vincent Longo Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation, Bisque, .4 oz:

I am really surprised some of the negative comments. I have been using VL water canvas for over 10 years. It is the most natural flattering foundation i have ever used. I get many compliments on my skin and i am always surprised when people marvel at my complexion and ask if I ever wear foundation hehe
I noticed someone said they always looked made up. Maybe you are wearing the wrong color.
Last summer when traveling i forgot my make up bag and had to replace the basics. Could not find VL in the shops . This gave me the opportunity to try some other products. I was miserable without my VL spent a fortune trying to find a substitute. I guess it is a good reminder that reviews must be read with a grain of salt because we are really not all alike.

Comments about Vincent Longo Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation, Bisque, .4 oz:

I'm so glad to see Drugstore.com carrying this foundation since [...] discontinued it. I've stayed with this one for years, after having tried so many other expensive brands. I apply the Vincent Longo Water Canvas Primer, and then this foundation glides on so smooth and cooling. I have bad skin, but it makes my sometimes dull/stressed/broken-out skin look clear-glowing-even toned- and so dewy fresh!! The coverage is sheer-medium, but buildable. I let it sit on my skin a minute and it cools some redness a bit, so I can use less concealer. I can achieve a perfectly natural look with this, and I get so many compliments on how good my skin looks.

Comments about Vincent Longo Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation, Bisque, .4 oz:

This is one of the best foundations that I have ever used and I've tried and used most of them (Trish McEvoy, Bobbie Brown, Chanticaille, Laura Mercier... to name a few). I've applied it with a brush and it looks so natural (only better) that I needed to run a q-tip on my face to see that it was there. If I need a bit more coverage, then I apply it with a sponge. My skin is fair, slightly reddish, but not too light or ruddy. This color works for me.

Comments about Vincent Longo Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation, Bisque, .4 oz:

I've been using this foundation since a bored makeup artist at Barneys grabbed me five years ago and told me it would change my life. I wouldn't go that far, but it's the best foundation I've tried, even if it is insanely expensive. It blends well, looks natural, stays put all day, doesn't rub off on clothing, etc., and lets your skin breathe. I recommend buying the separate travel compact to keep it fresh--I've found that it dries out in its original packaging, no matter how tightly closed you keep it.

Comments about Vincent Longo Water Canvas Creme-To-Powder Foundation, Bisque, .4 oz:

I love this foundation. Yes, it's ridiculously expensive, and you will go through it in a month if you use it daily, but it is worth it's weight in gold. If you're going to purchase the VL foundations, make sure you purchase the Water Canvas Base, it's the creme de la creme of foundation primers, and just a tiny, tiny amount gives you the perfect base. So why is this so great? Despite being not very heavy it gives you wonderful coverage, doesn't look fake or cakey. it looks like makeup should; your skin but better. A note about their colours, though. This colour looks very dark both in the swatch above, and in the pan. I NEVER would have thought that this colour would match my skin, but it's perfect.
