For Cheeks: Be sure cheeks are hydrated. Begin at apply of cheeks and dab on with wand applicator, making 2-3 small dots of color. Immediately blend them outward and upward toward the temple. Continue dabbing small dots of color and blending sections working over the cheekbone towards the hairline.
For Lips: Make sure lips are clean and well hydrated. Use wand applicator to paint lips, carefully following upper and lower lip lines. Continue to apply in layers for deeper pigmentation.

I've been using Vincent Longo's lip stain for years. Cupid's Breath used to be an orange based red kind of like the picture shows but they changed it to a peach color. I still like it but they need to update the picture on beauty.com
