Foxy - Nude : Matte

Richer and smoother, our velvety, revamped formula delivers insane performance in 68 decadent shades.

OMG. We didn't think we would ever want to change our already incredible Eyeshadows. But thanks to new advancements in formulation technology, we found a formula that will BLOW YOUR MIND. (And the new packaging is amazing, too!)

The Formula:

  • Even softer, amazingly velvety texture
  • Richer, more dense and decadent color
  • Smoother, more uniform pigment distribution and blendability
  • Longer-lasting, more crease-free wear

The secret to the new formula is our Pigment Infusion System™, a vehicle for color that holds tightly to pigment and gives the formula its glide. The proprietary blend of ingredients allows color to weave itself through the Eyeshadow formula. What does all that mean? Insane color payout. Color that stays on your lids. Sparkle that doesn't fall. And velvety, suede-like smoothness and blendability.

This amazing technology works for every shade and finish. Have you ever had trouble blending a black or purple shade? How about a matte? Every Urban Decay shade is silky, blendable, and stays put.

The Shades:

Our new assortment of shades features:

  • Best-sellers
  • New shades
  • Lots of shades previously only available in Palettes (You asked, we listened!)
  • Shimmer, satin, sparkle, duotone and matte finishes

The Token:

Packaging has been perfected as well. Inspired by NYC subway tokens, our gorgeous gunmetal compact allows you to pop your shadows out, and pop them into a Build Your Own Palette. (It's easy... no melting, magnets, or breakage.)

Comments about Urban Decay Eyeshadow, Foxy, .05 oz:

For years I loved Urban Decay shadows, but avoided them due to packaging. I prefer refillable compacts. Now that Urban Decay offers refillable four-well compacts, game on!

This is a great base/neutral shadow for those with fair to tan skin. No creasing, lasts all day, buildable, and blendable. Perfect for a naked, neutral, or work day eye. It seems to work well with several brands of primer. It is comparable to Laura Mercier shadows -- slightly less smooth in texture but longer lasting and more crease proof. It seems to have a little more pigment than Bobbi Brown.

If there is a drawback (and this is me searching), it is that this color (Foxy) blends with light skin -- maybe a little too well. Outside of having a neutral base, you can hardly tell it is there. I like this for a naked eye. But it might be a little too matte and neutral for some.
