For reference, I have olive skin and I tan very easily. My facial skin is generally lighter than the rest of me, because I'm more conscientious about sunscreen there, but my face coloring is in the Medium range, even at my palest. On my skin, this powder is gorgeous! It's finely milled, and highly concentrated, and it seems to melt into my natural undertones. A tiny dusting looks great, and lasts for hours and hours. This is exactly like Absolutely Invisible, with the addition of a slight golden shimmer milled into the powder. The shimmer is probably from a very finely ground mineral. I think something has to be finely ground in order to get "shimmer", so this does have luminescent particles in it. It is not what I think of as "glitter", which is exactly what I'd hoped for, because glitter, sadly, never looks good on me. I think of Glitter as bigger chunks of sparkly things that are noticeable as chunks. Glitter is the enemy of my pores, and the cause of ashiness in oiler areas, so I avoid it. The "glow" in this isn't something that when you get close you see actual particles sticking to my skin. The closer you are, the less you see the powder. It appears completely sheer and invisible. However, when light hits my face, at any angle, from any kind of light, my skin appears to be illuminated, and it really does look like candlelit warmth. I use this to set my sunscreen, beneath a primer and foundation, or just beneath foundation, and I also use it to set foundation, and to touch up my face when it needs it (rarely, with this powder). If applied lightly it creates a healthy, morning sunlight kind of look, and if applied heavier and layered with blushes or bronzers, it can create an intense glow. In all cases, this powder is brilliant. It's a huge size in a fun compact for a great price. Another clever, fun, and best of all, flattering product from Too Faced!

I tried out the product during the day and once at night. I will say it is a nightime wear out to go somewhere type makeup and not so great for everyday use. If you want a more natural look like me you are not going to like all the glittry specks of gold int the product that spreads all over throughout the day and is more noticable during the day. I you are looking for a product that looks more natural and can be used daility I would recommend the Fresh twilight primer. Gives you a glow and plus it primes so two birds with one stone!. I don't usually get too concerned with prices but this one was average for a face powder pact.

Comments about Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Powder, Candlelight, .32 oz:

I use this product with Fresh Twilight and I love the combination. I am 42 so I try to stay away from glittery powders and eye shadows but I wanted a highlighter that was a powder and easy to use. This powder is glittery but it is super fine so I just swipe it as a finishing touch to highlight my brow, cheek bone, etc. I would not use it as a finishing powder...it is too glittery for that. You use so little as a highlighter....this will last me forever. I asked my husband/sister if they thought it was too glittery and they both thought it looked nice...just a little added glow. I use it every day and I would buy it again.

Comments about Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Powder, Candlelight, .32 oz:

I use it on top of foundation, daily.
I like that it has just a little bit of shimmer, not too much, so you can wear it to work.
It comes with a sponge applicator, which I feel is just taking up space, because it isn't a great tool to use to apply it. I use my own brush to apply it.
Texture is somewhat cakey and can appear as if you're wearing too much makeup. It almost covers blush (I apply it after foundation and before finishing powder). I'm going to use up the product but am still on a lookout for a perfect finishing powder, and unfortunately, this product isn't it.

I thought this would have to much shimmer, but it does not. I would get your own powder puff, this comes with a sponge and I didn't care for that to much. With the powder puff or brush work ALOT better!!

I use as final swish over make up for a sheer finish that is lucid, warm (gold not bronze), adds no color, but makes the light reflect in a good way. A lucid shimmer but not big glitter and not fine shimmer, just barely a lucid light reflect look. This does exactly what it said it would, which I really didn't think it would. I am ordering more. love it.
