Comments about Tokyo Milk Let Them Eat Cake Bon Bon Shea Lotion, 1 ea:

Average lotion, not very moisturizing. Despite being named "let them eat cake" it really doesn't smell like it. Pleasant white musk scent but not worth the price.

Comments about Tokyo Milk Let Them Eat Cake Bon Bon Shea Lotion, 1 ea:

I don't normally use scented lotions, especially not hand cremes. And definitely not pricey ones either. Purchasing Tokyo Milk's "Let Them Eat Cake" hand creme was really a gamble as this brand is not sold in the country I live, so I had 0 idea how any of their products smelled or if they were quality products. It was an especial gamble with this particular scented lotion as I could find next to no reviews on this product! In all honesty, I bought this because of the packaging. I could not resist the vintagey look and the cute cake picture on the tube. Fortunately, this product was just exceptionally fantastic. It came in a cute little drawer like box. I must say tho, that the size of the tube disappointed me a tad bit as i thought it would be longer, but it was quite small (the length of your palm, half the width). The printing on the tube is really lovely and looks exactly like in the stock picture. As for the scent, it was just absolutely heavenly. Although the Coconut Milk, Vanilla Orchid & White Musk scents are supposed to be the underlying tones, I could definitely smell mainly the vanilla plus a milky sort of scent mixed in with white musk (I LOVE WHITE MUSK SCENTS!) This lotions key ingredients include Green Tea, and that sort of put me off at first when I read the description, but in person, you can barely smell the green tea which was good with me as Im not a fan of green tea smelling items. But its not like its totally not there, you can definitely smell some of it, but because its mixed in with the vanilla and white musk, it smells incredible. The scent also stays on your hands throughout the day, even after I washed my hands with scented soap, it remained. After application, it does not leave your hands greasy like most other lotions. Plus, its very moisturizing!! I used to have peeling skin around my nails, but they've completely recovered thanks to this hand creme! The only downside is that since it comes in a tube, there is bound to be wastage, which is sad as this is such an awesome hand creme + the tube is so pretty is saddens me to imagine it all flattened out.
