The picture is completely off. Check the internet for swatches. These are gorgeous natural shades with a bit of a nice sheen to them. The shadow/liners do a beautiful job lining. You get highlighting shades, base, contour. You can use this for office to date and look gorgeous. The shadows are soft and smooth and apply easily even without primer.

The picture of this product does it NO justice. This palette is actually a bit subdued, but shimmery. I purchased it based on the recommendation of a friend and am quite pleased. The shades are all truly beautiful, but pretty dark so a highlight color will be needed in addition to this; however, the colors are rich and not ones that you will find in every other palette. Three of these colors can also be used as liners. This is great for nighttime and special occasions and, with a light hand, can be used for daytime, too.
