Comments about theBalm Read My Lips Lip Stick, Letter to the Editor, .14 oz:
Sometimes a girl just doesn't feel like RED.
I have been searching (for YEARS) for a decent neutral/nude shade of lipstick that does not look ultra pink or white on my lips. I am an olive complected girl from the Med so, most shades of "nude" make it appear as though I had stopped breathing. In any case, this particular color is AWESOME! It is just a shade or two darker than my natural lip color and has a bit of gold fleck in it... which makes it look like you ARE wearing lipstick but not so much as to look overly made up. It goes on smoothly and has lasted for hours (regular water/coffee drinking-no food yet). I am super happy with it. Not sure what this color would look like on fair skin... it is true to the color of the photo but you have to apply two coats of it to get it that color. Light skinned girls might find one light application works or it might be too dark.
