I carry several European skin care and make up lines in my spa, but I only carry one concealer - The Balm. I have purchased and used a $75 concealer (supposedly the best in the world) and it does not hold a candle to this one. I have very dark circles under my eyes and this is the only concealer that works and lasts. My daughters are both part time models and this is the only concealer they will use. It does not turn "spidery" like the $75 concealer and is easily touched up. It blends and covers beautifully and can be used over the entire face with the sponge. But please, USE A CONCEALER BRUSH, always, for best results. Other comments have mentioned using Q-tips - never!

I bought this to cover a small raised mole and a few dark freckles. It settled in the nooks of the mole and drew attention to it, rather than camaflouge. It worked okay on the dark freckles, but wears off quickly, same as much cheaper brands. I agree with the grumbles about the sponge- it's not very useful. I tried with a small tipped brush and q-tip- which was easier to apply that way, but same results. I won't buy again.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light/Medium, .25 oz:
Works wonderful for covering discoloration on face, did not work so well for undereye dark circles, I find a more salmon color works better. I tried various forms of application from finger to concealor brush, and the sponge defintely works the best! I have a medium light complexion and the light/med shade blended perfectly.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light/Medium, .25 oz:
After reading rave reviews about this product I just had to try it for myself. Despite the high cost, I had high hopes. The first day I tried it I noticed how incredibly light the color was. I looked like a raccoon. Not even after 5 minutes, it began to settle in my creases and gave a dry look to my under eyes. I have tried using less to see if that might be the problem. Nope ... Total Fail. I would have to say do not waste your money. There are cheaper products out there that work much better.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light/Medium, .25 oz:
This is a WONDERFUL concealer. I have been in search of the perfect concealer for awhile. I have tried highend brands and drugstore brands and I found some ok products, but nothing that I LOVED. This I LOVE! I was afraid the color would be a bit too dark. To give reference I wear shade 150 in Revlon foundations (Color Stay Combo/Oily and Color Stay Whipped) and fairly light in B.E. matte foundation. This color perfectly on me. I have neutral to yellow undertones. It covered my dark circles SO well (and I have very dark cirles) and also did a wonderful job covering redness and acne blemishes. The product is creamy and blendable. I have oily/combo skin and it lasts all day. The only thing that they could improve on is the packaging. I wish it was a bit more sturdy, but I can certainly overlook that because the product inside is amazing!!!

Second time to buy this. Really like it under my eyes and on my lids as a eye shadow primer. A balm so it is better for older skin (40 ish). I also like to use it if I have an oops under my eyes with mascara application. Recommend putting it on with a small brush ( I actually use a lip brush) and it will last forever and not get contaminated from your fingertips. It also lets you just put it on those dreadful dark circles. I find it matches my skin tone much better than any of the big name commercial ones I have tried. This gives a healthy glow not a white line under my eyes.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light/Medium, .25 oz:
I bought a light/medium for my light asian skin (40-yr-old); the coverage is good but it's too drying by mid-day in the office. If you have dry skin, do not use this concealer for under eyes.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light/Medium, .25 oz:
I, too, have tried many different concealers, from drugstore varieties to expensive department store brands, and I always return to theBalm. I find the product gives excellent coverage, and in its little jar it stays creamy and does not thicken like concealers that come in a tube. Also, I use a brush to apply and find the jar much more convenient than a tube for this technique. I don't find the product drying but to those reviewers who do, I'd like to suggest that they either mix a tiny bit of theBalm BalmShelter tinted moisturizer with the concealer or apply a thin coat of BalmShelter on the face before using the concealer. If I'm using foundation, I always apply my concealer after applying foundation and blend it in; the other way round, the foundation just pulls the concealer off. A nice, natural look results from using a skin primer followed by the tinted moisturizer and the concealer and finishing with a very light application of pressed powder. Add under eye liner, a thin coat of mascara, lipstick or gloss--and you're good to go!

Really creamy and blends well and you really don't need a lot, In fact you know you are using too much if it clumps or if globs up in the lines around your eyes. Just a little bit goes a lot way.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light/Medium, .25 oz:
This concealer really works well at covering dark undereye circles. It's very creamy, not drying at all. Make sure to blend it well just before applying face powder to prevent any from settling into fine lines. I also dab a thin layer onto my eyelids as a primer and dust with powder before applying eyeshadow. This prevents the shadow from creasing.
