I have a horrible time finding a concealer that's not too dark or too pink for my very pale skin. Most concealer looks like I smudged Silly Putty under my eyes. My foundation is Bare Escentuals Fairly Light; I use TimeBalm in Light and they're perfect for each other. I apply over eye cream using a Taklon concealer brush, then pat out with a fingertip. The coverage is good without being obvious. For really bad days, I put Bare Escentuals Bisque over it. It lasts from 8am-5pm without touchups, which is unusual for me because of my super-oily skin. I haven't noticed it doing anything for fine lines or puffiness, but as a regular concealer it's really good.

I love the size and application of this concealer- it's great for your purse and traveling. While it does the job, I have the hardest time making it look natural. It is very thick, which makes it tend to clump and be difficult to blend. It also dries out the skin under my eyes unless I put on special eye moisturizer immediately before applying. For these reasons, I don't use it as part of my everyday beauty routine, but TimeBalm can't be beat when it comes to airports, hotel stays, road trips, and touch-ups on nights out.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light, .25 oz:
This is my all time favorite concealer. I am well into my 40's and do not feel that this just makes wrinkles stand out more like many others I have tried. I use this under my eyes over my eye cream. For me, it is a good color match, I use the light to med. in the summer, and the light in the winter. I apply it with a little brush that is actually a lip stick brush but that way I can pin point it just on the dark circles. I also use it over the entire eye lid as a base for my eye shadow and to even out the redness that age gives us on our lids and that dark area on the nose just next to your tear ducts. It truly is a balm and will not dry out and cake. Please do not discontinue this product.

I found this years ago and it remains my favorite. I love the idea of an anti-aging product safe enough to use around my eyes that covers too! I alternate between this and Bare Minerals Bisque for coverage. I use it to camouflage redness in my cheeks and nose, for shadows under my eyes, and as primer for my shadow and eyeliner. It's good stuff. Like other The Balm face products, it is odorless and gentle. I've tried other concealers but always come back to Time Balm.

I bought this to cover my dark eye circle, but it didn't cover that well. Works well on spots and freckles though.

Comments about theBalm BalmShelter timeBalm Anti-Wrinkle Concealer, Light, .25 oz:
For best results use your ring finger to pat this on to the area you're working with. It's very good so far as coverage, smooth application and
blending go, but (especially if using under the eye) you'll need to use a 'setting' powder (a shade lighter than what you're using or the yellow powder that models use) if the skin isn't very smooth. It settles into creases & lines quite badly and will not last through the day if not set. I would recommend this to a friend with smoother skin.

This product is far too thick for use under the eye. In addition, the packaging leaves much to be desired. I would not purchase again.
