I felt like I was running out of options for being able to TOTALLY remove my eye makeup...short of no longer wearing it! I have this great new mascara that I didn't want to part with, but regardless of what I used to remove it at night, I still awoke looking like a raccoon - even after my a.m. shower?? Then along came this awesome product!! I am in love with TheBalm. It removed every trace before bed - went to sleep and woke up "fresh faced". I am definitely adding this to my staple list.

This eye makeup remover is AWESOME! I first found it at Sephora and fell in love with it! I have very sensative eyes and have to be very cautious with the products I use. This woks great for me. It does go on like vaseline, but after removing with a cotton ball, all of the eye makeup is gone and the area around my eyes feels soft and moisterized. I LOVE IT!!!

This product is very similar to using plain old Vaseline - It has a similar texture and leaves behind a similar residue in and around your eyes. You must use quite a bit of the product and apply multiple times, as the first use leaves a dark coat of grease behind. Also, it requires heavy rubbing to remove, which is not good if you are concerned with preserving delicate eye skin. Might be good for those more concerned with convenience.

This product is great for travel because it doesn't spill, but I did transfer it to a smaller tin first. I find it to be an effective eye make-up remover. I just put a little on my fingertip and rub gently over my closed eyelid and lashes. Then I gently wipe my eye and finger with a soft tissue. This product would not be good to use for a make-up change because it is fairly greasy. But I love it for nighttime eye makeup removal and for the fact that it is no-spill. A bit pricey though.

This product is not effective at all. To take off mascara, you have to apply twice. It's almost like Vaseline. Once you rub it on your eye to take off mascara, for instance, what do you do with your hand???? It's just too messy.
