Always shave with the grain first, i.e. in the direction the hair grows. For an even closer shave, re-lather and shave lightly across or against the grain. Avoid applying too much pressure on your razor since this is often the cause of razor burn and skin irritations. Proper Care: Use a Razor Stand for proper maintenance and storage of the handle and blade in between each use. Always shave with a clean, sharp blade. The Art of Shaving recommends changing your blade after every 3 to 5 uses. |
