I have a stand alone brush from e-shave and was standing it on its basse to dry. Well, that resulted in gunk coming down the brush and onto the sink. So I bought this stand. It certainly holds the brush bristle-side down and any gunk dries on the base of the stand. But after more than 12 hours, the bristles are not dry. I have to turn the brush upside down so it can fully dry.

Bought it for my hubby. Its ok for its price.... nothing great.Its stable and does not wobble with the weight of the brush or anything. He has a Tweezerman brush and it fits fine. You can get it if you are not looking for anything fancy.
