I have a combination of very fine and dry hair, and if I use heavy and thick leave-in conditioners, my hair tends to look greasy and lank. Hydrate Botanica, however, leaves my hair light and soft, and so even though I think it is rather expensive, I use it every day. I agree with other reviewers on the smell. The product does stink (even makes me gag sometimes), but only when my hair is still wet, which can be embarrassing at times if you are around people and your hair is not yet completely dry. Overall, I like how my hair feels after using the product, so I will continue to buy and use it.

I love this stuff. It really seems to protect my hair against the heat of my flat iron. My hair never gets that dried out look too much heat can cause. Using Terax Hydrate leaves my hair soft and shiny. I actually kind of like the smell too

This product did not do a thing to detangle or condition my hair. Smells terrible too. I do not understand the fuss about Terax.

This is a great leave-in conditioner. I t leave hair terrifically manageable and tangle-free when wet, soft when dry. Hair is never anything but light and full, no matter how much you accidently leave in! Unlike some others I think the scent is terrific and a bit sexy!

I love this product. I never really noticed the smell until reading the product reviews here. I smelled it and it is definitely a herbally-scent, not a terrible chemical smell, so I don't mind it.
Definitely makes my hair more manageable when it is wet. It is a very thin, watery product, and I have to say I pour it on and have never had a problem with over doing it.

I use this leave in conditioner everyday and since the first use, my hair and curls have been softer, lighter and smooth. I started to develop a really bad patch of very course, very dry hair and I tried hot hair oil, deep conditioning, hair masks and absolutely nothing works as well as this product.

Some reviews claim a bad smell. It's not my favorite smell but it's not that horrible. I would describe the scent as herbal.

This stuff is great!! I was surprised at how wonderful it worked since it is really thin like water but I can't see myself styling my thick, curly, long hair without it! And the scent doesn't bother one bit.

I sure was hoping that my other leave-in conditioners would be as good as this one, because I really don't prefer how it smells, but, it is the best of all. It is wonderful to define curls and moisturizes dry hair better than anything else I have used. I wish it smelled better, but perhaps it has to smell this way to be as effective as it is!

i love this product. i have frizzy dry color treated hair, this is by far the best product i have EVER used to hydrate my hair. it is very light weight so your hair doesnt feel like it has leave in conditioner in it. it has a nice clean smell to it.
