I try new products all the time, in search of the Holy Grail, better, or becuase something's new. But I've also learned a lot about what ingredients to look for, and what to watch out for. This has none of the ingredients that dry or damage my hair, but has urea (this is synthetic people! It's not urine!- in case you're reading this and you're one of the damaged who think it is), as well as propylene glycol, two potent hair moisturizers that also help protect from heat damage, yet do not weigh hair down. And a little spray of dimethicone, for added shine. Smells great, adds swing, fights frizz. Use damp, touch up dry. I'm not loyal to many products, but I have been to this one for 4 years.

Honestly, I'm undecided about this product - I like what it does for my hair and I don't think I want to go without it...but I'm wondering if I could find something else that works as well for less.
I have a medium amount of long, fine, straight, layered hair. Most of the time, I just want something light to give it some body, a little texture, and enough hold to keep it looking smooth. The bottle recommends 4-5 sprays on damp or dry hair - I use 7-10 sprays on damp hair and comb through. The merlot fragrance can be a bit overwhelming at first, but it fades quickly - I'm sensitive to fragrance, and I wasn't bothered by this when I was done. I was surprised by the great body and hold I got from this - I always blow dry but I often just use my hands to shape my hair. With a round brush, the results are impressive. My one real issue: I didn't get the shine the product promised.
All in all, I like this product but it's a little too pricey for me to recommend without reservation.

Comments about Ted Gibson Build It Blow Drying Agent, 8 fl oz:
I spray this only on the crown and front of my head after towel-drying, and then blow dry the same areas upside down with a diffuser. This product adds volume to my thin, fine hair without weighing it down or making it feel sticky or greasy. My hair looks thicker, shinier, and healthier when I use this product. The scent is rather unusual, but is not unpleasant or overpowering. I have tried several volumizing sprays and this one is by far my favorite. As an added bonus, it is easy to create a travel-sized version by buying a small spray bottle and filling it with this product.

I use this product every day after shampooing my hair. I apply it just prior to blow drying. It dries rapidly and gives my hair volume, I have fine straight hair. Many products I have used I find my hair feels sticky or greasy afterwards, this was is not like that. Great product!

Comments about Ted Gibson Build It Blow Drying Agent, 8 fl oz:
I spray my hair with this product as soon as I get out of the shower. I have tried many leave in conditioners, or blow drying products...but I always, always come back to this one!!! My hair looks and feels healthier when I use it. I am also hooked on Ted Gibson's shampoo and daily conditioner!

Comments about Ted Gibson Build It Blow Drying Agent, 8 fl oz:
I love this product. Gives me body without being heavy or making my hair look to "producty". I spray my roots and use one other anti-frizz product before blow-drying and it's perfect!
Comments about Ted Gibson Build It Blow Drying Agent, 8 fl oz:
This is my favorite volumizer. Matter of fact, I hate every other one but this one! I have long fine, thin hair, and other volumizer/texturizers just make it matted after it moves around a bit. But this -- never! It gives my flat hair body. It works on wet or dry hair. And it smells awesome and so unique (the merlot complex). My only gripe with this really is the shape of the bottle. It works for other products from this line, but not one you have to spray (like this one); for this, it's way too awkward (and I have large hands!) The bottle is a good size though, and a little goes a long way. Will definitely repurchase.
Comments about Ted Gibson Build It Blow Drying Agent, 8 fl oz:
I hate this product and frankly wish I would have bought a pair of shoes or something for the amount of money I spent on this product. I experimented with it several different ways and none of them produced the results I had hoped for. The product did not produce the volume or shine it promised. It actually left my hair feeling heavy and waxy. Don't waste your money.
