Although it doesn't really plump your lips, the cherry color is such a gorgeous pop, even next to my fair skin. It's an easy way to wear red. Plus, it lasts a really long time!

I love tarte products and another shade of this lip stain.... but my skin is just too fair to pull off this shade as a daily color. It's a bit bright for me. Very fair folks would be better off using the nectar shade.

I love the lip stain. I am blonde with fair/medium fair skin -- I'm not pink, just white...if that makes sense (and no, that's not anything to brag about -- but to explain that I can get a little bit of a tan, and not burn). I can understand if you're really pink-fair not liking this, or if you're beyond medium-complected...but I love this in winter because it gives me a little natural color, so that I don't look like Morticia Adams -- and I love it in summer because it makes me look a little tanner than I really am. What's not to love in Spring and Autumn? It's a little cherry (hence the name)...and everyone likes nudes and berries and coffee colors then), but I actually enjoy it even then on weekend mornings. More, please!

The other two reviews say the colors for this lip stain are terrible, but I absolutely love "Cherry"! One reviewer wondered who this color would look good on, and I have very fair skin - so, apparently it looks good on women with light skin. The stain is pretty (albeit, not the longest lasting stain I've ever tried) and the gloss is a nice sheer red that can be worn alone when you just want a very small amount of color and shine. I also think the gloss smells good and feels nice on the lips.

Not perfect, perfect would last all day. I have the pink, great color that gets me through the morning. More than I can say for most of my lip products, not drying.

This stain did not stay put. The gloss is quite sticky, and stays sticky throughout the day. The color is also very, very bright. I returned this product using the 100% color guarantee.

These colors are pretty unflattering. I cannot imagine which skin tones would suit them. Make sure you see them before you buy them to avoid disappointment.
