When I first got this, I was horrified. It looks like the deep, dark purple in the picture, I was sure it wasn't going to come out looking like any "blushing bride".. But I figured I should try it out before I return it. It's a good thing I did. This is one of the easiest blushes I've ever used. It may look dark when I sweep it onto my cheeks, but a couple seconds of blending it in with my fingers and I have a dewy, pale pink glow to my cheeks. It's an awesome addition to my 10 minute morning routine.

I wanted to try this for years and decided to fork over the [$]. I wanted to love this, I really did! The color is pink, not plum and I cant get it to blend at all. It looks splotchy and uneven no matter how I apply it. It messes up my foundation too. I threw out all the return info/invoice or I would have returned it. I should have gotten some more Nars blush instead.

Loved this product, however my cheek area broke out. Something in the product irritated my normal skin type.

I do love it, but the color is not as fantastic as a color I got as a sample with my tarte cheek glow in a tube. This one gives a nice pink color but I wish it were a little more luminous. Good value. The product will last forever.

Comments about tarte cheek stain cheek color, Blushing Bride, 1 oz:
I first purchased this product more than 5 years ago, when I was 23 years old and looking for a long-lasting blush. It was way too glow-y for me then; it seemed to just sit on top of my skin and I stopped using it. I recently picked it up again, and it's perfect now that my skin is dryer and slightly more mature. Finger-application is too messy for me, personally, and I find it difficult to apply over foundation that way. I've found that the best way to use it is to apply my mineral foundation as usual, wait a few minutes, then gently dip my stippling brush (I use a drugstore one)over the surface, and buff onto my cheeks. Another layer may be applied if the first isn't enough, but I've never had to do that. In the summer I may follow with a silica microsphere powder. FYI, I have light olive-golden skin and I found Tipsy to look fluorescent on me. Blushing Bride appears the most natural, and it is my go-to blush for everyday wear. It lasts from 8am to 3pm, which is longer than any other blush I've used. It's a great product, a tiny bit goes a long way, and wears beautifully. A winner in my book :)

Comments about tarte cheek stain cheek color, Blushing Bride, 1 oz:
I choose blushing bride because it looked like it wasn't too warm a color. Found it to be too red with slight orange ting. After really blending it in, it looks like more of a flush than a blush. I like this product, just not this shade for my Irish skin. Will try another color.

I really wanted to try one of the Tarte Cheek Stains after reading so many good reviews on them. I finally took the [$] plunge and got Blushing Bride. Now don't get me wrong, its a beautiful color and the product lasted a long time on my oily skin, but I just wish it wasn't so sheer. I had to put about 4 layers on to get noticable color. I love this product though and I would buy it again, but probably in a darker color like Flush.

I got a sample of this in a gift bag I purchased from beauty.com a year ago....I LOVE this blush! It is hands down the most natural looking blush I have ever used, and it smells good, too! And, here it is 11 months later, and I'm still using the sample. I could never go back to a powder blush...this truly makes me look like I'm blushing....and even at 37 years old, it adds a hint of youth to my make up. One thing I would add that I have discovered...the blush "weeps" a little. Sometimes when I open it it had droplets on the top. I learned the first time it happened that you have to wipe the droplets off before you apply it, or the droplets will add darker pigment to your cheeks that you may not want. Overall I am thrilled!

[...] I use it all the time and so far, doesn't seem like its running low in spite of frequent use. I didn't use blush often but when I did I was a fan of Nars [*] (this site won't let me write out the whole word! LOL). Now I use it every day! My complexion is medium-tan and quite oily but I think these sheer formulas work for everyone. I use it on my lips as well. Just beware the horrible taste. I usually put a clear gloss over it once it dries down. These stains do feel a bit tacky on the face but it does dry down. I use the stain right over my bare minerals or my nars foundation without a problem. i also put multiple layers on during the day if I want more color and it never looks overdone. There is good control even without a mirror as you can just rub it on over your cheekbones and blend. I've done this in the car! I ordered 4 more colors, which should tell you that I'm a new Tarte Stain convert. No more powder blush for me.

Comments about tarte cheek stain cheek color, Blushing Bride, 1 oz:
I've never used any kind of stain blush before so I was a little hesitant at first but this stuff is really easy to use. It blends easily & the color is really natural. It looks like a deep purple in the tube but it turns into a pinkish color. My skin color is olive/tan & it looks natural on me. It's not very sticky either, I can just wipe my fingers off on a tissue after I apply it. I would buy this again.
