I LIKE TO RUN, A LOT. THIS IS THE ONLY MASCARA THAT CAN WITHSTAND THE FLORIDA HEAT AND MY 15 MILE RUN AND THEN THE POOL AFTERWARDS. I ONLY USE THIS MASCARA ON RACE DAY! I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL. YOU BETTER USE SENSEYES OR ANOTHER REALLY GOOD REMOVER TO TAKE IT OFF AT NIGHT, BUT THAT IS NOT A CON, TO ME THAT IS A PLUS!

Product arrived in a timely manner. The tarte waterproof mascara tube is in new packaging, very similar to the tarte regualr mascara. After one use I really don't think its the waterproof mascara. I believe its the regular mascara, it does not go on like the previous tarte waterproof mascara I used, it doesn't hold curl and it smudges.

I use this mascara every day because I often have problems with smudging when I use non-waterproof products. The Tarte waterproof mascara is great for everyday/night wear, but it's not going to get you through a day of swimming. It survives crying without running or flaking, and it doesn't seem as harsh to my lashes as many waterproofs can be. It thickens some, but it lengthens really well. There is minimal clumping that is easily remedied with a quick swipe of a lash comb.

I'm terrible about removing my mascara every night (which is why it's especially important that this mascara isn't harsh), and I frequently get through two days of perfect wear with just one application! Seriously, no smudging.

My biggest complaint is with the cute-but-annoying design of the tube. It's covered in cloth, and the seams make gripping the handle a little weird; but it's not so bad that it would keep me from using the product.

I got a set from another retailer with this in it for Christmas and I'm so glad I did. I thought I'd never find a mascara that separates my lashes so well. I think the brush has a lot to do with that. I usually get a lot of clumping, but with this, it's minimal at most, and I was able to separate the clumps easily with my fingernail at the base of the lashes. It makes my lashes look so full and thick that I might not wear falsies for my wedding and just slap on a couple coats of this. The best part: no smudging or transferring when dry! I don't get a single speck on my eyeglasses while wearing it all day, and my white tightline stays perfect. I've also cried in this and not had it budge. I can't speak to the curling claim since my lashes are naturally curled. One time I wore this, I couldn't get it off with grapeseed oil and face wash, but it still looked great the next day.

I LOVE tarte's mascara, so I decided to try this waterproof one as well. This was a BIG disappointment. It is definitely waterproof BUT there are literally no other benefits-no volume, no lengthening power, nothing!

Stick with the regular mascara they offer-it is literally the best one I've ever used.

Although my 21 year old says that she has found this to be a bit clumpy for her, I have used it for a long time and never had that happen. Perhaps it's the way each person applies it? My result is longer, fuller lashes that last. I admit that washing it off at night usually results in a bit being left behind on my lashes but what is left behind never flakes, smears or runs and simply comes off in the morning with a second washing in the shower. I never get racoon eyes, smearing or running even with teary movies, rain or allergies. It also doesn't dry out like some waterproof formulas. My lashes simply feel natural, just longer. Worth every penny to me..and it's not really very many pennies at that!

This mascara is waterproof and did not flake or create raccoon eyes. However, it thickens by sticking maybe three lashes together in a clump so each lash looks thicker, but there are not many of them. The brush is big and loaded, difficult to apply a small amount of product to fine lashes. Some might like the heavy look of this product, but I prefer a little mascara on each lash to such a heavy load.

This mascara was a little pricey but Tarte usually makes a great product so I splurged. Looks very good going on; separates, lengthens very nicely. However - my major annoyance is that this mascara is not really waterproof at all - I would call it water resistant at best! Twice now, I have walked to the mirror to find mascara rubbed all over my face and the worst part is that it *burns* when it gets in your eyes!! I was expecting something along the lines of Maybelline's waterproof mascara; that a remover would be necessary but it's not even close. I don't know about the reviewer who couldn't get it off, my experience was totally different.

So sorry I tried this. Second time I used it, it clumped big time, now I have to remove most of it on to get it to look half-way decent ... by then it's almost nothing on my lashes.
