I haven't used many products of this type. I wanted to sport a cat eye look and had read a lot of positive reviews about this product. I was also intimidated by the steady hand often required to apply liquid eyeliner and I find gel or cream gives a more intense black. I liked this product....at first. It is an intense black, the brush included works well enough, the product glides on and you get a lot of product. I've had this 8 months (I don't wear it daily) and it has not dried out and I've used a small amount of the product.
The downside came with two resent mishaps that now have me reaching less often for it: I skipped my eye shadow one day and my emollient cream concealer caused the product to come off on my eyelids...badly. Then I wore it outdoors on a hot humid afternoon and found some of it smudged down my eye/face at day end. Embarrassing thing to notice after the fact!
Therefore, I would not wear for long periods outdoors on hot day and DO NOT recommend to those with oily lids. I find myself wishing I'd gone with Bobbi Brown or Clinique liner. I've also discovered NARS stylo pen (in Koala), which surprising, I can apply!

After applying this product I was super excited about the nice deep, thick, true black liner that really made my eyes stand out. By mid day I peeked in the mirror to see how well it was holding up .... YIKES. I had black flakes of eyeliner under my eyes and down my cheeks. I also noticed the liner by the inner part of my eye had completely worn off. I'm upset at the amount of money I paid for such a poor product.

I use this as my everyday eyeliner on top of the eyelids, even in my waterline and it lasts me all day. I have used many products like this and none ever compare. You can make it thin or thick, even smudge it out to cover your whole eyelid. My skin and eyes are super sensitive and this one has never once irritated them. I know it may seem pricey to a few but it really does last me a long time and I think it's definitely worth it!
