Remove the protective plastic disc from the top of the cheek tint. Sometimes humidity creates a bit of liquid/wetness on the top of the cheek tint. If so, simply wipe it off with a dry tissue. Cheek stain can be worn alone or over foundation or powder to give a natural, healthy flush. Directly from the container, dab it on the apples of your cheeks, blend the edges, and go- it s that easy. Layer for more intense color.

Comments about tarte cheek stain, true love, 1 ea:
I am a big fan of Tarte products. I've been using the Tarte amazonian clay blushes for a few years. My favorite color in the powder blushes is Blissful. I recently purchased two Tarte cheek stains in True Love and Exposed. I love both of them. They are different - the True Love is more gel-like, the Exposed is creamier. Both apply easily, are slightly tacky for a few minutes until the tackiness fades. They stay on all day.
The True Love is a lovely natural raspberry flush, but without bluish tones. Exposed is a surprisingly neutral and low key pink, quite lovely. From online photos, I had the impression that Exposed would be brownish, but it is not. On my arm, the colors look quite different from each other. However, both work on my face which is very fair with yellowish undertones. I'm not sure if I have a preference, I like both of them. They both look as if I have a natural flush to my cheeks. I have applied them both by dabbing them directly on my face and then blending with my fingers and also by using a brush. Works both ways.
I know some people have complained that Tarte reduced the size of these while keeping the price the same. I have never yet used up any blush, so I have no complaint about the size. Of course, I would prefer a lower price, but I did get these on sale (beauty.com), so I'm satisfied. Highly recommended.
