While this is a very nice product, I would not recommend it if you have an oily skin type. I have used up almost the whole tube of foundation and tried it many times in different weather conditions to really give this foundation a test drive.

I had been looking for a full coverage foundation appropriate for my oily skin. By full coverage, I really mean as full as possible - as in, ideally being able to omit concealer entirely from my routine. I read the reviews for this product, plus I love Tarte in general, so I gave it a try even though I feel it is a bit pricey.

I'd also like to say that there is a lot to cover up on my skin: I have larger pores, unevenness of tone from past acne, some sun damage, and broken capillaries.

I do realize there is no miracle product out there! Having said that, I would still say that this is a nice foundation with a nice formulation if your skin is a normal to dry skin type and you don't need what I consider "full coverage". I think that the company describing this as a "full coverage" product is a somewhat misleading statement. However, this product is very hydrating, soft, easy to blend, and a more natural ingredient-type of product, which I love.

I personally found that on my skin, this product became slick, did not stay in place, and easily transfered to my collar/shirt/clothing. Again, I did not feel that it offered full coverage, and the product disappeared on my skin by noon. However, that happens with almost every product I try - EVERYTHING requires constant touch ups on me due to the oiliness/sweaty factor.

If I were to use this foundation alone on squeeky clean skin in the dry winter months of Chicago (i.e, without moisturizer or any other skin care products applied beforehand), I could get by with it. In other words, if I used it as a 2-in-1 moisturizer and foundation, it could work. So personally, I think of this product as more of a Beauty Balm (BB Cream)than a full coverage foundation. Perhaps those with normal to dry skin who didn't need heavy coverage would love this.

In full disclosure (and not to be Miss Braggy-Pants),I am an Esthetician and makeup artist who is I'm familiar with using many foundation brands on many skin types. I think Tarte is a great brand and I love the idea behind this product. I really wanted this to be my perfect foundation solution, but I would still use it on others as a make up artist. I still think this is a good product for the appropriate person.

I bought this product because I really loved Tart tinted moisterizer. Both of the products apply on the face very very very smoothly! I guess because it has natural ingredients, it feels not heavy and even feel shinier after applying it to my face. I absolutely love this product!

This foundation applies very smooth, the finish is beautiful and last all day long. Non oily. Just my favourite foundation.

Feel great on my skin, goes on full coverage and matte. I'm a budget buyer but this is worth every penny.

I did not buy this at drugstore.com but i have had it for a about a month and i love it! I have very oily skin, this really does last all day and does not turn into an oil slick after just a few hours of wearing, the texture is like a gel mousse and can be light to full coverage, i apply it with my fingers and it blends easily, has a great long lasting finish.
