Tarte lip sheer is less emollient (a bit more waxy) than another well known name brand of sugar lip treatment, however it holds its shape whereas the sugar lip treament becomes soft and mushy half way down the tube. In order to get the feeling I like of very soft lips, I apply several layers. I also use it over semi-permanent lip color to add a layer of moisture. "Wednesday" wears like natural lip color, only prettier. I add Clinique Tawny Tulip Lipliner for a more dressed up look.

I bought three colors -- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I didn't like Monday (weird shade of red), but I love Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday is the one I keep in my purse because it looks so amazingly natural and feels good on my lips. I'd buy it again, despite the price.

Nice, moisturizing medium peach with a touch of red and brown. This is not a cool color, more of a medium shade of peach. Looks nice on, has SPF, but needs to be applied again after food/drink.

I didn't like it. It was not very moisturizing as advertised. It was not worth the price. It seems very cheaply made. I don't think I like Tarte products overall.

Perfect! I love the Wednesday/Red/Brown color. It is perfect for my warm choice of colors. It glides on perfectly, no worries about putting on too much. Stays on long too! Love it!
