  • Use a brush or comb to untangle the hair ends.
  • Press On/Off Switch on 'ON" position. Adjust temperature dial to desired level. When the red light starts blinking, the plates have reached the temperature set and the iron is ready to use.
  • Take a 1" section of hair and pull it taut. Clamp section close to the roots between the plates.
  • Glide iron through in the direction of hair growth at a speed slower than when brushing hair.
  • Repeat steps 3-4 until hair is fully styled.

      I thought this flat iron was poor quality. Not only did it take multiple passes to actually straighten my hair but the heat was inconsistent and fluctuated after every use. The iron was light and flimsy I could see it breaking easily. I also noticed on the white plates what appeared to be a film after each use similar to the hair color I use so I'm not sure if it was stripping the color or not but I've never had a flat iron do that before. Overall I found the iron to be junk. I would not recommend it.
