Sunblock vs. Sunscreen:  Colorflo contains titaniuim dioxide and zinc oxide ~ the only two natural mineral sunblocks.  Sunblock is effective immediately.  It is like pulling a shade down between you and the sun.  Sunscreen takes approximately 30 minutes to create a chemical interactive blocking of the sun.  It is like having a window screen between you and the sun.

Tips for Application:

  • Colorflo can be applied with varying degrees of coverage
  • Let moisturizer absorb about 2-3 minutes before applying
  • Prep the brush ~ Click the button at base of Colorflo 1-2 times before your first application to get the minerals flowing through the brush.
  • Afterwards, simply tap the brush on your wrist 1-3 times until minerals are visible in the brush.
  • To apply:  Dust on face, neck, hands and chest ~ or anywhere you desire coverage and sun protection.
  • Coverage:  Adjustable coverage ~ gently sweep for light coverage;  apply in circular motion for additional coverage;  slide clear plastic sleeve up to create a smaller brush for more precise coverage.

Washing instructions for the Brush:

  • Use a few drops of liquid soap in 1/2" of water to clean.  Face tip of brush downward and swish brush in soap.  To rinse, hold at an angle, with the brush head down, under running water.  Dry on its side overnight.
  • Brush cleaner or alcohol may be used to freshen the brush in between cleansing.
  • Susan recommends washing your brush at minimum every time you are ready for a refill.
