Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencils are my daily go-to staple. I use them almost every day. I have Chang Mai, Kenya, and Zaire. They're very easy to apply and I use a sponge-tip liner "smudger" to even it out after application. The only negative thing is that they don't stay on all day, but for me that is a work day and a couple of hours at the gym. I have not found any other pencil that's as easy to apply and most don't stay on as well as this, so I do recommend this for everyday wear.

I saw this on an infomercial -- lots of hype. No delivery. The pencil is too thick, hard to handle -- but the worst and most surprising thing is that the stuff (not a line, it goes on like stuff) sticks to and clumps on your eyelashes, at least it did on mine. (No, I'm not confused, I don't think this is mascara. It really does get caught in lower lashes. I struggled to keep that from happening at first -- thinking that the problem was that I didn't know how to apply it. You shouldn't need too much proficiency to apply an eyeliner.) And it doesn't last - which is the all-important thing for me. i want to put my makeup on in the morning and forget about it. a certain fade-factor is expected. i like it that , by the end of the day, my makeup looks less like makeup because it has worn off some and looks more natural. I don't want sharp lines -- so the promise of smudge-ability is always a selling point for me. This product is greasy, so it doesn't smudge well. Save your money! I bought a regular old Revlon eyeliner after this experience -- it's better than any of the high-priced spreads! And by the by -- neutrogena has the best mascara I have ever tried -- in all my 40 years of wearing makeup. The new olive oil mascara really does thicken lashes, with no clumping, drying, or flaking. and my lashes are healthier. I bought it after the Sue Devitt mascara, which was also a huge let down.

Great eyeliner. Goes on smooth with a more wide line. Not long lasting, may need to prime the eye area before application for a longer lasting look.

I love the way this eye pencil intensifies my green/hazel eyes, have been looking for a product that does what it says, and this one does. Its my first color, Zaire, which is a deep plum and it really makes the green in my eyes stand out. Love it ! And plan to try another shade too.

Comments about Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil Eye Color, Zaire, .05 oz:
I wanted to love this pencil because I adore the Sue Devitt mascara (best I've ever tried), but I was disappointed. I can deal with the big fat pencil, even though I had to buy a new sharpener just for this, but it is difficult to hold and manage, and trying to get a neat line at the lash line is nearly impossible. The material on the smudging end of the pencil absorbs the liner and removes the liner instead of smudging. The color is lovely, but application is just too difficult and the liner is not particularly long-lasting. If you want an easy to apply and long-lasting liner, I really like Urban Decay's 24/7 glide-on pencil.

Comments about Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil Eye Color, Zaire, .05 oz:
The eyeliner is rectangular which makes it difficult to apply.
In addition, the whole thing just smudges and it's not really worth the price. Just get a regular liner, and some shadow, it'll last longer and be less expensive, even if it means that it doesn't come in a nice pencil package.
Comments about Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil Eye Color, Zaire, .05 oz:
Love, love, love these pencils. The color is very intense and lasts long. It creates a beautifully smudgy but not too messy/greasy effect. I think it would be tough to create a perfect thin line with these, but if natural, slightly smoky is what you're looking for, these are perfect. My only complaint is that the little sponge applicator end isn't very good. The sponge is small and too pointed and rough-feeling, so it doesn't work very well to blend. I much prefer the soft white eraser-like tips on pencils like Prescriptives, Cover Girl, etc.
Comments about Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil Eye Color, Zaire, .05 oz:
I bought the black and navy blue colors first, then went for Zaire since I have green eyes. I love the way these eyeliners go on and smudge -- very smooth, no pulling on your skin when you blend. They're chunkier than I thought when I first bought them too -- not thin little eyeliner pencils. The Zaire color is a very plum-eggplant purple. I was hoping for a brighter purple, not so muted and dark, but this looks color good on me; I was just hoping it was a little more purple/blue and not so purple/brown.
Comments about Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil Eye Color, Zaire, .05 oz:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these Eye Intensifiers!!! I own Zaire, Surat, Bangalore, Pointe Noire, and Kenya! They last all day, even on my oily skin. I plan to buy all the colors!!!
