Comments about Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner, Periwinkle, .01 oz:
These are a staple in my makeup drawer, and no one has come close to these. Soft mattes and dramatic shimmers, loads of choices make it impossible for me to stick to one. Self sharpening is great, but you have to waste some product to get a fine point if you want that-- since hey are for smudging into a soft, diffused or smoky look, I don't see that as a con. It has always lasted throughout the day for me.
I have had trouble using it near the waterline with contacts, as it caused a sort of film until I cleaned them, but it did not otherwise sting or bother me much. With glasses, no problem. I have dry eyes and many eye liners and shadows bother me; not this one. Someone else with sensitive eyes said it was irritating after a few hours, so I'd not recommend it for really sensitive eyes.
