I use this product on my roots/bangs every other day (the days that I do not wash my hair) and I think it works great! It smells good and helps to soak up that excess oil. I do think it is a bit pricey, but since I don't have to use much for it to work, it has already lasted me a long time.

Smells really nice. Not quite a dry shampoo, but helps "freshen" hair and give it a bit of a boost.

This dry shampoo is some of the best I've ever tried. I live in Atlanta, where is it VERY humid during the summer. I have fine, straight hair that gets oily fairly easily. This product is great for when my hair needs a little refresher and I don't have time to shower. It smells great and best of all, it adds volume!

I have dark brown hair and use this product to keep it from looking oily and to thicken it up a bit. Works like a charm. The powder does not appear white in my hair. I have very oily hair and this keeps it looking fresh all day into the next day. Love this product!

I am a minimalist with my hair and makeup as I get older, and this is the first time I've ever written a product review. But this product is amazing to me. I have been hooked on it since 2005/06 and will now bulk up on buying 2 bottles because Sephora doesn't stock it any longer. Note I do have medium blonde and highlighted hair so I don't know how this would work on a dark brunette but I believe women with brown/chestnut hair could use it fine with a simple pouf or misting of the product with great results. I now make sure to use a hair pick to separate sections of my hair so to get the product onto the roots, something I've learned as I've used it over the years. The volume is provides on unwashed hair is superb! It saves me at least 1 or 2 morning from washing my hair so as to bolt to work. I have a corp. office job so always have to look sharp. What's the best thing about Stila Hair Refresher? Who wants to always scoop up their hair in a bun or ponytail for work to save time? It always looks like you didn't have time to wash your hair. Buy this!!!

I bought this as a refresher for my newly longer hair since I should not wash every day. I like the concept but it makes a fluffy white mess all over my bathroom and the scent is a little old lady floral instead of a crisp clear floral. It does refresh my hair & takes out the little bit of dirt/grease that I might have on day two.

I don't know what to think about this. While it did make my thinning hair less greasy looking...it made it more dry and brittle looking. I've used it twice in the now month or so I've had it. It's expensive and not worth the price. I can't see anyone using this daily. Just not for me.

I decided to try this product after using up all of my Klorane dry shampoo. I was a little put off by the price, but decided I'd try it once. I didn't love the Klorane fragrance, so I wanted something different. I found that dry shampoos can be extremely useful when traveling (i.e. camping) or when you've undergone a medical procedure and can't get wet in the shower.

First of all I am happy with the fresh, sweet sort of lemon-vanilla fragrance. It is not a 'fruity' fragrance like other products, fragrances which bore me. A little light 'poof' of this stuff all over my head underneath my hair at the roots, gives my fine hair texture, body and 'grip' very unlike most normal styling products. Not only do I use this to cut down on days I have to shampoo (which I feel, helps my color last and preserves hair from damage), but, I also use this on days when my hair is clean. It adds "grip" and volume to my hair which my hair does not have when it is squeaky clean. It also helps alleviate the effects of hot, humid weather on my hair. My fine hair is protected against the 'humidity frizzies' without being weighed down or limp (as some anti-humidity silicone products do). Overall my hair looks like the naturally thicker and less wispy head of hair that I was not born with. I have had many remarks on my hair looking great, when all I had used that day was this product.

I am careful to use this on the underneath layers of my hair and not directly on the 'part' of my hair, as the white powder can show up on exposed scalp. Otherwise, 'poofing' it lightly on totally dry hair, fluffing my hair so it distributes, then brushing it through, gives a sleek, but thick and textured look to my fine, straight, blonde hair and also helps my hair hold an "updo."

I love this stuff! I have never been able to skip a day of shampooing due to oil and products in my hair. With this I can actually skip two days if I need to and my hair still looks fresh. I have purchased similar hair products and this is by far the best. I have found the ideal way to use this product is to hold the bottle horizontally and squeeze puffs of powder near the scalp. If you turn the bottle upside down you will get large amounts of powder, which takes time to brush through. I hope they never discontinue this!
