This was far more pale than expected and certainly is not a lip stain. I've used it instead as a cheek color and have to use quite a lot due to the pale intensity of the color and I am very pale myself. If you have much in the way of nails the container can be hard to open. The consistency is nice and the color is pretty, it is just deceiving to see the color on the page compared to using it.

...but what a hideous color!!! I read the previous reviews; I was convinced a "pink-brown" would look nice. Well..it is NOT pink-brown it is PINK almost to the point of being white! I have olive skin and, since being in the Mid East for a year, I have a dark tan (like it or not). So this makes my lips (which ARE pink-brown!) look as though I smeared white make-up on them (ick)! I do love the product but I will be going back too a darker shade. If you are PALE and have light colored lips, this will look great on you. I gave the compact to a friend who is VERY light (blonde/green eyes) and it looks beautiful. Good stuff; wrong color!!!

Ok product but wouldn't consider it a lip STAIN. There are others out there that last much longer. Haven't tried it on cheeks.

I love stila!!! This is so creamy and smooth, though I mostly use it on my lips than on my cheeks, the color Lithium is a very nice sweet pink that looks really natural. I pair it with a smoky eye!

I don't tend to like cream blushes and they usually break me out. Stila's CC doesn't and I'm very happy with it. Peony is a subtle peachy brown that looks like terracotta mud in the compact. I was terrified of it when I got it home and saw it in the sunlight. The trick is to put it on lightly and layer slowly if you want more color. And blend, blend, blend. It's very soft and natural looking, great for no-makeup makeup looks. It's the only product Stila makes that I think is worth the price.

Stila Convertible Color in Peony is a staple in my makeup bag and has been for about 5 years. It is just the loveliest color. I am pretty pale, and this never looks garish on me. It is a brownish-pink. However, it isn't too brown or too pink. This is very easy to apply as well. I have to admit that I used to think cream blushes were tricky to apply, but after trying Stila's I changed my mind. Their CC's just melt into skin. I am just thrilled about Beauty.com selling Stila. Highly recommend this!!!
