I recently read an article describing what most people do wrong when blow drying their hair. I have long used a metal round brush and have always suffered from frizzy hair. The article recommended using a wooden round brush with a mixture of nylon and boar bristles. This brush fit that description and was by far the most economically priced. I have fine hair, just past my shoulders and this brush grabs all my hair and allows me the necessary control (tension) to dry without damage. It has definitely, dramatically improved the appearance of my hair and I'd also say the condition of my hair
