Buyer beware! This product may work miracles for some but it certainly did nothing for me. I have an hourglass figure, so it was extremely tight around my hips and thighs, but the waistband was actually loose and bulged out. I bought this to wear under tight dresses and it actually makes my waistline look bigger. Aside from this, the description uses the phrase "double gusset", which meant nothing to me until I saw the product and realised it meant "crotchless", not something you want to wear under a short skirt. The website really should make this clearer. Unfortunately, this website has a no return policy on items like this, so I'm stuck with a useless [$] piece of cloth.

I bought a black Spanx Higher Power in size B to wear under a dress and I am so pleased! At first it was tricky getting it all the way up because it is tight but once past my size 8 hips, it felt snug and comfortable. My midsection is nice and smooth with this on. It slims and shapes. No wonder Spanx gets raves from celebrities and the fashion world. I won't go without these now and will purchase more. Totally worth it! For reference, I'm 5'4 and 140 lbs.
