At first I wasn't a fan of this product but I ad never used a primer before. It took me a while to get a good technique for applying to avoid making my face feel greasy. I wouldn't use it with any foundation other than the matte bareMinerals powder - they compliment and balance each other well. The green greatly helps to even my red undertones. I've now used it for almost 2 years and always make sure I have a backup when the bottle gets too low.

I had such high hopes for this product.......such a bummer. It does feel nice when applying it to clean freash skin, however I don't even know how to describe what happens. It basically changes form and if you touch it, as in touch your face applying liquid foundation (which obviously you touch it with either a finger, brush, sponge, or something)it sort of turns into a powder and flakes off. Very weird. I've tried it 3 days in a row now, nowing Smashbox makes great products, but this one is just terrible in my opinion. I can't comment how well it covers pink/red bloches because I couldn't get my foundation on over it. Very disappointed.

I purchased this product after hearing so many reviews about smashbox primers. I first encountered it while having my makeup done in the mall, and I really liked the way it felt on my skin. I was offered the color correcting primer because I've always had "pink" cheeks. You don't need to use much of the product, and you're skin feels instantly smoother. I use a loose powder foundation and it really helps the powders and pigments stick all day. I work with animals, and often get really sweaty throughout the day, and it does a very good job in keeping everything on my face. I give it four stars because I'm not really sure how much the green counteracts the pink in my face, it goes on clear once you rub it in. Next time I'll just get the regular primer since it's cheaper.
