I love smashbox normally but this product was definately not for me. I wanted to like it, tried it a few times but each time it made caused me to breakout badly along my jawline and around my mouth.
I wear all other products in this line, but would caution you to use this one.

I use as a base for Smashbox Halo, which I totally lov. I use to use Bare Escentuals, which I still consider one of the best, but has an ingredient in it that causes my skin to itch in the heat. Smashbox FOUNDATION Fx and Halo are perfect.

It has the consistency and coverage closer to a tinted moisturizer than traditional foundation. It works for me to overall even out my skin tone, but I do need to use a good concealer if I'm having a breakout or something. The price is a good value for the quality of ingredients and amount of product you receive.

I am on the fence with this one...I am a frugal buyer, but will always pay more money for a product that is good for my skin and lasts long (in number of uses). I first apply the photo finish primer and then the foundation. For me, it doesn't stay-put all day and by noon I look like I should reapply. I do not wear a ton of make-up, but do have an uneven skin tone, so coverage is my main goal. I am niether here nor there with this product effectiveness, but I do like Smashbox philosophy (cruelty free, healthy for my skin) and ingenious pump packaging to maximize the product useage...you will get every drop out of this bottle.
