Got this in a sample kit form Sephora. I love Smashbox but they really missed the mark on this product! The mascara itself is thick and gloopy but the BRUSH! OMG!! It is like a big fat pipe cleaner...it is absolutely HORRID. It got everywhere...and I am an old pro with mascara wands. Doesn't define, lengthen or anything else positive. This is going in the trash.

This mascara was smudged under my eyes about 2 hours after putting it on-I was in a restaurant-no rain involved!! Also, it didn't do much to make lashes look better. I'll go back to my better & cheaper Maybelline Falsies!

Terrible! Clumpy, flaky, etc. I had raccoon eyes within 4 hours. Don't waste your money!

I have been using a sample tube I got - perhaps that applicator is a bit different somehow. I find that this mascara goes on easily, doesn't clump, and makes my lashes crazy huge! For me, it did not smudge or run AT ALL, and I spent three hours doing some very active dance exercise and sweated all over the place, and ZERO smudging! It was incredible!!! Plus, it's totally free of parabens and a lot of the nasty chemicals in most mascara.

This mascara ran the second it was applied. Don't waste your money. Way better products for a third of the price.

I bought this mascara when it first came out. I had the woman at the cosmetic counter apply it and it looked pretty good. However, she used a new wand and I'm wondering if that made a difference. I find that SO much product comes out when you pull out the wand that even though I scrape most of it off, it's still just really messy and just too much. It definitely was NOT worth the money. If you like to wear a LOT of mascara, then you'll like this. I have very long, thick lashes and I prefer the smashbox definition mascara. It has shorter bristles in a spiral pattern that never clumps or looks overdone.

I had high hopes for this new mascara from Smashbox. I think I would enjoy the product if/when they improve the applicator. The rubber washer at the top of the container is too wide, and as a result, too much air is let in, and too much mascara is distributed on the wand applicator--and you get CLUMPING. Agg. For the money, this product is not worth it.

I didn't really see anything "Bionic" about it! This stuff is REALLY messy, the product seems thin, and smears easily. I am a mascara pro, but I ended up with this stuff all over my face.

This is the most expensive mascara I have ever bought. I figured that it was worth the 20 dollars since it claimed to do so much for my lashes and was healthy for them too. The color is rich and dark which I love. It does a bit for lengthening and adds some moderate volume, plus it doesn't clump very much at all. I have naturally dark, thick, long lashes which I guess makes me lucky. I'm not sure if this mascara would work for someone with thinner shorter lashes but I would say that it is worth a shot. I got a ton of compliments when I wore this!
