Silk'n™ products utilize the highly sophisticated and new Home Pulsed Light™ technology developed by Home Skinovations Ltd.
Home Pulsed Light Technology™ (HPL™)
The process of laser and light-based hair removal is well known and established. It has been proven in clinical use around the world for over 15 years as a safe and effective way to achieve long-term hair reduction.
The patented and FDA cleared Home Pulsed Light™ technology (HPL™) is a new and innovative light energy technology combined with unique acoustic effect, designed exclusively for carrying out safe and effective removal of unwanted hair at home. The scientists and engineers behind HPL™ technology all have an extensive and successful history in the laser and light-based aesthetic industry, having previously developed products for major companies such as Syneron, Sharplan, Laser Industries and Lumenis, as well as others in the aesthetics industry.
Through HPL™, the Home Skinovations' scientists have created the Silk'n SensEpil™ device that is small and portable, and operates with a surprisingly low and extremely safe level of light energy. In clinical trials HPL™ technology effectively removed unwanted hair on the majority of participants. In consumer tests users of HPL™ technology in Silk'n SensEpil™ found it safe and easy to use in the privacy of their own home.
Home Pulsed Light™ - the next generation of innovative light technology for removing unwanted hair.
Do not use Silk'n SensEpil™ on naturally dark skin complexion!
Do not use if lactating or nursing.
Silk'n SensEpil™ removes unwanted hair by selectively addressing hair pigment. Varied quantities of pigment also exist in the surrounding tissue of skin. The quantity of pigment in a particular person's skin, which is manifested by their skin complexion, determines the degree of risk they are exposed to using Silk'n SensEpil™ hair removal device.
Treating dark skin with Silk'n SensEpil™ can result in adverse effects such as burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation).
A unique Skin Color Sensor is embedded in Silk'n SensEpil™ to measure the treated skin complexion at the beginning of each session and occasionally during the session. The Skin Color Sensor ensures that pulses will only be emitted on suitable skin tones.
Silk'n SensEpil™ works variably on blond, red and gray hairs
Silk'n SensEpil™ effectively removes darker hair because its effect is directed at the hair pigment. Silk'n SensEpil™ may not be effective on light hair because it contains smaller quantities of pigment.
However, in clinical trials it was observed that some of the lighter hair users did achieve satisfactory results with Silk'n SensEpil™.
Silk'n SensEpil™ is not recommended for use on the face or neck.
Unlike body hair, most of women's potential facial hair remains inactive and hidden, while only a fraction of it grows and surfaces. Exposing facial hair to the light pulses of Silk'n SensEpil™ may remove apparent hair but simultaneously stimulate unwanted growth of hidden hair.
Using Silk'n SensEpil™ to remove facial hair may cause serious eye injury and may stimulate facial hair growth.

It does burn the skin a little when you flash it but its really not bad at all.I will say it's a bit expensive but still an amazing value compared to professional treatments. You can see more info at [...]
