I am of Asian descent, so whitening is huge for my culture (don't know why). I have used all kinds of products from Asia and Japan and this is the last product I will ever use. Since I started this using this product a month ago, my skin has become smooth and truly porcelain. I look years younger. The marks I had in my face (from picking when I was in my teens, acne!) are all but gone. I didn't think this was going to happen but thanks to Sekkisei, I look and feel amazing.

I bought this product based on the reviews that it would even out and brighten skin tone. I've been using this for a couple of months now and am confused by the results other users have had. I notice soft and smooth skin, perhaps better oil control, but not the "whitening" effects and also not the irritation (the most mentioned pro and con). I do have sensitive skin and uneven skin tone due to acne. I'd say this is a nice toner, but nothing more. Due to the price, I probably wouldn't buy it again without a sale or promo offer.

I love this toner and I have been using it for 5 or 6 years now.
It may not moisturize, but it soothes and brighten my skin. Acne scars seem to fade twice as fast when I use it.

I use it as a whitening mask, with their mask paper. It works great! I feel my skin soft and my skin tone was changed and sunburn marks were almost gone after several usages.
But watch out, it contains alcohol and it really irritates sensitive skins.

I know i shouldnt use it because of the large amount of alcohol and other chemicals,but im too desperate too get rid of the acne scars on my face. Perhaps im too anxious to see result, it's been two weeks,and im not seeing much of a difference. I also read very extreme reviews for this product, ppl either love it or hate it, it can either transform ur skin or destroy it. I have very sensitive and oily skin, so far havent had any irritation, u just have to try it for yourself.

I've never used the western version of Sekkisei. I use the medicated Asian version. I love it. It really makes your complexion beautiful. But I dont recommend this for sensitive skin.
