I have worked in the beauty industry for a long, long time; for years, I was a counter manager for a big line at a fancy department store. needless to say, if I needed something, I tried all the versions of it I could find. before trying the Aucoin eyelash curler, I had purchased- and discarded- about five different curlers. I tried all they had to offer at the big 'black and white' makeup emporium, too. finally, I tried Kevyn Aucoin's curler; and I tell you, this is the ONLY eyelash curler that has ever really, really worked. it is so effective at curling lashes that the first time I used it, I actually OVER CURLED my lashes! it is excellent before mascara- squeeze down by lash line, then halfway to lash ends- or it curls so well, you are mascara optional. yes, this eyelash curler is really that good. and my last one worked well for FIVE YEARS! that makes it a bargain, too!

First I have to say I LOVED Kevyn Aucoin as a makeup artist. Now to the eyelash curler. At first I thought it worked okay and liked the shape and length of the curler pad. Then I started to realize that I was needing to curl longer or even twice to get any results. Now a couple months later I have noticed my eyelashes are sparse and thinning. I have used just about every eyelash curler on the market. I like the Tweezerman a lot and it is much cheaper. I have very straight eyelashes, and the Tweezerman is quicker and gentler to my eyelashes. I think that everyone is gong to get different results with every curler that is made. Just like some curling irons work better for some and not so good for others. Sure wish it all was easier than this and everything worked the same for everyone! I am glad some people love this item, just not me.

Well this is a great eyelash curler. Really. I've always had a cheap Revlon or some other cheap curler and I never knew it could be this much better! I felt silly spending this much on a tool BUT you're going to use this everyday for years (yes it comes with an extra rubber insert) and it is WORTH IT,

I have never tried the Shu Eumura curler but I have bought the Revlon one and this by far is a great curler that in one press, curls your lashes.

The most amazing eyelash curler I have ever used! This is some of the best [$] I have ever spent! I have had it almost 10 months and it still works great! This is the only eyelash curler that is big enough to fit all my lashes without pinching, and the pad is so firm that it's still in great shape and gives great curl! Amazing!!!!!!!
