I wrote a similar review for the Kevyn Aucoin Volumizing Mascara- the only difference is that I use this one for a more curled, lenghening feminine natural look, and I use the volumizing mascara for a more bold look.

I am a 33 year old woman- so I don't want to look too young or overly mature. This mascara gives me a bold but appropriately natural look. Great for the office.

The product itself: great brush, easy aplication, doesn't stick or clump, nice bold black color, gives length as it states. The BEST part- it's NOT DRYING!!!!! My biggest problem is that mascara dries out my eyes after application and half way through the day I feel irrtiated. Another BEST part- the removal! I just use simple vegatable soap and the mascara completely comes off, no make-up remover or chemicals. The product comes off almost like latex sticker peeling off- very easily and gently. It doesn't pull out my lashes or require scrubbing. I have found my sweet spot with this product and will purchace again for sure.

Very difficult to remove, doesn't curl lashes. Due to formula, difficult to apply multiple coats. I wish I could return it, but Beauty.com only allows 30 day returns. I should stick to purchasing from department stores with more generous return policies.

Love it. No flakes. Great lash separation and lift.
Only negative is that it doesn't pass the 'tears test'.

There are a few mascaras out there that I like but this is the only one that does not smudge and give me the raccoon look-even during the summer heat or over a thick eye cream I usually apply. I have recommended it to 3 friends and they love it too - enough to buy it on line like I do.

I prefer this Curling formula over the Kevyn Aucoin Volume mascara because it does not flake like the Volume mascara does. I love tube mascaras in general because removal is easy and only requires warm water and because it does not smudge. I don't think this mascara actually curls on its own (but I have never been able to find a mascara that actually does curl on its own and I've tried many!)Just curl your lashes before applying this mascara, as you would normally do.

Overall, love this and will keep using it!

I just got this mascara last week, and will be using it exclusively from now on. It applies wonderfully, has great color saturation, and DOES NOT FLAKE OFF INTO MY EYES. Thank the heavens above. When I remove it, it doesn't smear all over or require oily removers. It simply comes off in a very unique way. I rarely rave about beauty products because I find THEY rarely live up to the hype or the price, but this product is so worth it.

KC mascara is so unique, I have not found anything like it although many other products have tried but do not come close. It goes on nice, it lengthen, the best thing is it stays on without smudging never leaves you with black under your eyes. it is a breeze to wash off with just WATER it absorbs then rolls off. NO pulling or scrubbing or using pour clogging makeup removers, this is a friend to your delicate eye tissue. My fear is the difficulty in finding it. Fortunately, the Buyers at Beauty.com buyers know a good product. I have very short, light eyelashes, but KC Mascara makes them look long and clean. Down side [$] a tube only lasts 6 weeks before it starts to get a bit clumpy, if you close the tube up tightly with each use, you can get up to 8-10 weeks.

This is the best mascara that I have ever purchased! From the moment I put it on, everyone asked what kind of mascara was I wearing. Some gals wanted to know if I had on fake lashes! Totally awesome!

Possibly the best mascara I've ever used. I can't wear regular or waterproof mascaras, as they all smudge horribly on me. (Oily eyelids, squinty eyes) I can't say this mascara curls, but that's not why I bought it. It lasts very well and removes easily without any special makeup remover and it never, ever smudges. I've never had a problem with clumping. I would have given it 5 stars if it did a little better job of lengthening/thickening my short lashes. And there's not a whole lot of product for the money, but it is a very good mascara nonetheless.

I have tried many brands but Kevyn Aucoin Curling Mascara is the BEST in terms of thick,longer and longer lashes, and it all totally comes off in the shower without chemical removers.
I don't wear it when swimming at the beach, so the removing part is not an issue.
