I had reviewed this product a couple of years ago and gave it 5 stars and used it religiously. Within the past year I noticed that it dried out more quickly and it didn't have the same level of enhancement that it used to have. My eyelashes are still the same length so it must be that they changed the formula. I tried twice more and still, it's not as good. So, if you are listening KA.. either change it back or you will have more people like me looking for greener pastures.

I took a chance buying this and love it. It goes on clean and smooth. It will not clump or smear and removes easily. Great for sensitive eyes.

I have been using this mascara for quite a few years, and I cannot find one better! The Kevin Aucoin has the "tubes", so not only does it not smudge, it washes off easily with warm water so there is no tugging on my tired old eyes. It does dry out quickly, so I am forced to buy a new tube every couple of months.

There are no other fair comparisons to this mascara. Looks like you're wearing false lashes. It is a "tubes" type mascara, where it adds fibers to lengthen your lashes (though it doesn't require the messy extra steps of putting on a base layer and then the mascara layer -- it just goes on like any other mascara). It does NOT flake. It does NOT smudge. I once fell asleep with mine on and the next morning my lashes looked EXACTLY the same as when I fell asleep -- 24 hours later and after a full night's sleep. BUT all you do to remove it is get water on them or wash them off. That's it. So it stays on as long as you want it but comes off super easy when you're ready. There are some reviews here about how it comes off in clumps or balls, and it does come off differently than traditional mascaras (which kind of "melt" off), but it comes off completely and clean -- you only have an issue with residual clumps if you use traditional methods of removal, like eye make up remover to melt it off, rather than washing it off as intended. You don't even need cleanser if you don't want to use it (though I use cetaphil, which is gentle on the eyes and the delicate skin around them). All you need to do is get them good and wet and gently rub the tubes off your eyes. I've used this stuff for 5 years and have never had a problem with any residue on my face -- it comes off very clean. I will say there's little to no difference between the "volume" and "curling" kinds other than the brush, so just choose the brush you prefer. The mascaras both do pretty much the same thing, at least for me.

This is my go-to mascara. I have probably a dozen tubes in my make up tray, but 95% of the time I reach for this one. It goes on nice and thick but also lenghtens AND when it comes time to take it off, you just splash on water and you feel the tubes slide off! I love it! it is hard to find so I am so glad drugstore.com carries it.

I really wanted to like it! There are so many positive reviews that I was sure it would be great. Maybe I'm just not used to tubing mascara, but I found this to be incredibly clumpy and flaky. My lashes were clumped together into spikes. I do like the brush, but it just wasn't for me.

I am a 33 year old woman- so I don't want to look too young or overly mature. This mascara gives me a bold but appropriately natural look. Great for the office.

The product itself: great brush, easy aplication, doesn't stick or clump, nice bold black color, gives volume as it states. The BEST part- it's NOT DRYING!!!!! My biggest problem is that mascara dries out my eyes after application and half way through the day I feel irrtiated. Another BEST part- the removal! I just use simple vegatable soap and the mascara completely comes off, no make-up remover or chemicals. The product comes off almost like latex sticker peeling off- very easily and gently. It doesn't pull out my lashes or require scrubbing. I have found my sweet spot with this product and will purchace again for sure.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. It is the best mascara I have used yet. Its great for daily wear and builds easily with multiple coats for hitting the nightlife - makes my lashes long, defined and ooo la la.. I curl my lashes before I apply. Its easily removable with warm water and cleanser (I use a Bobby Brown cleaner) I would not use it for dramatic looks - its more for the natural look (but not too natural)

If you blot the wand , this mascara won't clump. It doesn't run.
