I'm a 90's girl so I love that matte look and with all the popular sticky glosses its hard to find a true matte lipstick. This is the best. It's perfect and stays on a long time without getting flakey or sticking to your teeth. I'm always apprehensive to buy a lipstick online due to not seeing the real color but I've found that beauty.com/drugstore show the best tru to real colors. This color is not my favorite but I have them all and they're all great. This one is a little too light. I just wish it were cheaper!

This is a very nice color. It stays on for a decent amount of time. My only gripe really is that when you shapen it you lose some of the product. I mean it's not like it long or something. C'mon Nars, you know you could have been less stingy! Lord know you have enough money. I guess the gredy get greedier the more they get. Oh well, it was nice to try but I won't buy it again unless they either come down on the price or repackage it with more product. Also a sel-sharpening pencil would be nice! Just an idea guy.

I tried this product for daytime when I wanted a neutral but polished look for my lips. It glides easily and the color was more or less true, but, after just 3 mild applications, the entire tip broke off. Soon after, the same thing happened with another Nars Matte Velvet lip pencil that I purchased in the same order. The pencils are fairly "fat" and seemingly stable, so I didn't expect their tips to be so weak. As well, I only applied light-medium pressure.
In sum: Try this on at a department or Sephora store before ordering online to test for true color and durability.
