step 1: apply a teaspoon amount to clean, dry skin. once applied, crystals should appear almost like a mask. gently massage in a circular motion over entire face for up to 60 seconds, avoiding eye area. do not scrub (use less pressure for sensitive skin). step 2: place a generous teaspoon amount in the palm of your hand. massage gel onto fingertips, and apply on top of crystals. as activator is applied, a warming sensation will occur. white foam will appear, indicating activation. leave foam on 2-3 minutes to infuse vitamin c and peptides to the skin. (you can massage foam for extra exfoliating benefits or let it sit for sensitive skin.) rinse thoroughly. (you can use a washcloth for removal, to avoid getting the peel in your hair.) use once a week for best results.

My skin is SO dry that in the winter, I use vaseline as a daily facial moisturizer. It is also so sensitive that it looks like I have constant sunburn. This product did not irritate my skin at all! I was really shocked! I kept waiting for the usual stinging and burning that always happens, even with products for "sensitive skin", and it never did! I'm not kidding! Not one bit. HOORAY!! There was very little of a warming sensation and not a whole lot of foam, but I still think this product gets an A in my book! I used a sample that I got from a friend, since I hate wasting big bucks on products that I just can't use again, and I came online and bought the full size within an hour of using it!
Waiting for it to get here is going to be torture!
The only reason I gave this only 4 stars instead of 5 is because it didn't fully exfoliate my super duper dry areas (which honestly, only a sandblaster could do!), but for my average dry areas, I saw drastic improvement after just the first use!

I am a skeptic - but this product truly does what the box said. My skin glowed and felt super smooth after the first time I used the products. I was going to use the stuff every week - but have started to use it every 5 days, and am on my 4th treatment. Be careful not to use a lot of pressure when first applying the exfol. grains - experiment on how much pressure to use or you can make your skin sore and red. I also do NOT use the teaspoon amount that is recommended, I use less - probably about 3/4 of a teaspoon of the grains and then 3/4 teaspoon of the foaming solution. After I rinse my face, I follow up with 20% Vit. C serum. Both the serum and the extol. products are a little pricey - but well worth it.

I have oily skin, large pores and am medium complexion (Hispanic) I received this product and love it! The Vitamin C crystals are very fine. This is simply the best weekly scrub I have found. I can feel the excess oil and damaged skin peel away. The activator is the cherry on top and makes this scrub stand out from others. After I rinse the activator my skin just glows! It smells slightly citrusy to me. I use my peel in the shower so I know that everything been rinsed off.

My sister gave me a sample packet to try a few months ago and I've been hooked ever since. I use it about once a week, and it seems that every time I do, dh makes a comment like, "You look especially pretty today." I just smile and shrug--hey, this doesn't just happen, but he doesn't need to know that!
I have a steam shower and I always steam for about 10-15 minutes before using this product. It really helps to open up the pores so the benefits are even greater. If you don't have one, I recommend a facial steamer or even just creating a "towel tent" over your sink and steaming your face in that for a few. I also use md skincare alpha-beta daily skin peel (which isn't really a peel, but is awesome!), so when I use the micro-delivery peel I follow it with the md skincare and a moisturizer. Great results!!!

I used this once a week when I got the "Makeup Optional" kit. I was hooked. Now, I'm able to use it twice a week and my skin is getting clearer and is much smoother. I love how it increases circulation -- this helps heal my blemishes so much faster. I recommend it unless you have skin that freaks out from any treatment -- the bottom line is that it's not for the super-sensitive.
