I have tried every mascara made to try and find somethgin that doesn't leave me looking like Rocky Racoon within a few hours. This is the only mascara with the technology to make this work and I love it! It goes on just like a normal mascara, but it is essentially putting a tube around each individual lash as opposed to coating it with a traditional mascara. Because of this, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to run, smudge or flake. Water and pressure are most both be present to loosen the tubes and allow them to slide off your lashes. I take mine off very easily in the shower, though I may occassionally spot an old mascara tube on the tub if I didn't get everything properly rinsed down. Too bad the the less expnsive Loreal brand that tried to use the same technology failed miserably with an awkward brush that makes for a horrible application. This is worth every penny still and a MUST for weddings, funerals and baby showers where the biggest boo-hoo'ers will still look amazing.

However, the least bit of moisture prompted the mascara tubes to slide off. Little to no friction is necessary. I live in Seattle, and we do have rather regular rain here. The first proper rainstorm of the fall had the mascara tubes coming off my lashes and onto my cheeks with just the force of the raindrops in less than six blocks. There were confused stares from fellow pedestrians. In lighter rain or if I cried while watching a movie or from hayfever I had to be careful not to even brush my eyelashes because the mascara would slide right off.
So I'd recommend this if you live in the desert, are not sentimental, and do not have allergies.. Otherwise, Clinique makes a comparable product that does not come off at the first hint of water and gives more dramatic results.

This mascara is NOT waterproof, you have to put on many layers to get very little volume, the brush does not separate yours lashes well. The mascara is very thin. Maybe a primer would help. Would not recommend.

I bought this based on the positive reviews. For me, this mascara was nothing special when I wore it and when I went to wash it off, it pulled out a lot of my eyelashes. Used once, never again!

I love everything about this product except one thing--I wish it gave more volume. I live in a humid climate and I have oily skin. Prior to the 'tub' mascaras (Clinque does another good one), I would have mascara run down my face by lunch. I love that these are easy to apply, don't smudge, easy to remove with my nightly cleanser, and don't clump. I love the fact that I can wear it all day--I can even work-out with this on!
However, it really looks more natural than I would like--I would like a little volume. I think Blinc makes a volume 'tub' mascara so I'll try it the next time.

I was a little apprehensive about trying this product because of the price, but I was spending almost as much on a mascara from the makeup counter at a department store that I was becoming disappointed in because it started clumping and drying out way too quickly. I fell in love with this mascara the very first time I put it on! It applies quickly and easily and makes my lashes that you wouldn't be able to see without mascara look great! I love the tubing effect as it looks natural and doesn't flake. It is just as easy to remove as it is to apply. I don't have to scrub and feel like I'm ruining my lashes to remove it, just a little warm water and a gentle rub and it comes right off. I haven't noticed any signs of it beginning to clump or dry out yet either, hopefully that will remain the case!

I dislike the price..but I always come back to it. I have been using this mascara for about 4 years. Once it is on it will not come off unless you take it off. It does not smudge at all, no raccoon eyes, never runs and it looks fresh up until you take it off. I absolutely love it and have not found another mascara that works quite as well. Keeper!!

This was the worst mascara I have ever tried. Washes off with just water but leaves all the little filaments (tubes) below your eyes. Did separate lashes in little fine clumps.

This mascara on its own gives a very subtle and natural look. I on the other hand like to add lots of volume to my lashes so I use this mascara as a top coat over my Tarte mascara. Its the only product that keeps my regular mascara from flaking and smudging during the hot and humid summer weather. Plus it removes easily with an oil based cleanser.
