I bought this because I love the scent of jasmine and this toothpaste does not disappoint in that respect. The fragrance is strong enough out of the tube to satisfy my jasmine hankering but not overpowering or cloying and leaves just a faint after-scent that doesn't feel too artificial.

Otherwise, the texture is mousse-like and faintly lavender-hued. I don't like how much it foams, which also tells me it's loaded with lathering agents that are not too great for one's health. I felt like I was gagging on the foam from using a chickpea-sized amount, which tasted slightly metallic. It's cleaning power is average.

The packaging, especially the tube cap and shiny box, and "exotic" origins (Italy) make this a nice gift for the jasmine lover in your life. I like having it on display since I also love purple, but I don't often use it. Note that one of the ingredients, aluminum hydroxide, is linked to renal, gastrointestinal, etc. side effects so I would not use this regularly, especially for kids.

so i thought i would try this it is pricey for such a little toothpaste but that taste is worth is for sure unlike any toothpaste ive ever had before and as a bonus i got a laugh off of the description on the back which was unexpected.....lol iit says something to the degree of making it for women of class...so i guess im classy right?! lol buy this and not only are you going to be considered classy but ull have a lovely undertone of floral scent to your mouth o.O yummmmay haha it is worth the try

I bought all 4 of the Marvis flavored toothpastes (all but the Whitening) and of them all, this one FAR AND AWAY is the best. It tastes incredible - most of the mint flavors don't sit on my stomach well, and while the other 3 (strong mint, Aquatic and Ginger Mint) sit FAR better than a store-bought mint falvored, when it comes to enjoyable teeth brushing experiences, the Jasmine Mint is fabulous - I want to brush all the time - LITERALLY!!!! This stuff works beautifully, my teeth feel clean when I'm through (20 minute later - haha - it's tastes so good, I want to brush that long!) and my husband LOVES my breath after I use it. Wow - what a fabulously flavored toothpaste. I'm an addict now!

As other reviewers have stated, this makes brushing your teeth a pleasure. It has a minty, floral taste that is not overpowering or strong but slightly sweet. My son and husband like the mint flavor in the green tube, and I really don't think the guys in my family would like the jasmine mint, but that's just fine with me. The purple tube is pretty and old-fashioned looking. A nice change from standard toothpastes.

I will agree that the flavor and fragrance of this toothpaste is definitely not the norm, but I absolutely love it. It seems that the jasmine fragrance is stronger than the actual taste. I love to use it before I go to bed since it seems to relax me a bit and doesn't "wake" my mouth up as much as most of the other Marvis toothpastes do. The taste is subtle and minty, but not overbearing.

I'm so tired of over-powering extra minty toothpastes...

This stuff is great. It cleans very well- better than the average drugstore brand, in fact. If you can't taste/smell the jasmine in it, then you are probably not familiar with jasmine. It's definitely there. It will be a long time before I try another toothpaste.
