I saw this toothpaste while traveling in NYC. It was selling at the Plaza Hotel ([$] for a 3.86 oz tube) and at [...] for about $10 a tube. I was debating about buying a tube and was considering buying the Elygdium toothpaste from France but the Elgdium doesn't contain fluoride. When I asked the gal behind the counter at [...] if the Marvis toothpaste was worth the $10/tube, she said that they're all the same but she uses the Marvis Strong Mint toothpaste because of the flavor. She gave me a few samples and I love it. It didn't seem any more minty than Colgate Total or Crest ProHealth TP but it makes my teeth feel cleaner longer and it has a bit more fluoride than the Colgate or Crest. Shame on me as a dental hygienist, I eat a good amount of sugar and my teeth can be pretty sensitive to cold and touch so a little extra fluoride goes a long way. I ended up buying four tubes! It's perfect for my medicine cabinet because the cap has a broad flat end so it stands on end. I usually have to prop-up a regular tube of toothpaste which can slide and fall out of the cabinet.

I purchased this toothpaste because I thought I'd be getting a really strong minty tasting toothpaste. What I got was a big letdown. The taste was ok, but you can get the same minty taste with Colgate or Crest or any other national brand. Don't waste your money. Way overpriced for what you're getting.

Comments about Marvis Toothpaste, Classic Strong Mint, 3.86 oz:
I have been using this toothpaste for 7 years. I discovered it while living in Italy and nothing compares. It has a fresh minty taste (not sweet like other mint toothpastes) It really cleans teeth and leaves mouth feeling fresh. Though it is not a whitening toothpaste, it keeps teeth white and free from surface stains. I drink espresso and red wine, eat chocolate and blueberries and have white teeth after all these years.
Even my kids say this is the best toothpaste they've ever used. It's the only one we use!!
Once you try it, you'll never use another toothpaste.

Comments about Marvis Toothpaste, Classic Strong Mint, 3.86 oz:
I first bought Marvis on a trip to Italy a few years ago. Once that tube ran out, I looked everywhere for it on line. It has the best strong mint flavor of any toothpaste, without being so strong as to burn. It's also not sugary, like many American toothpastes.
I tried their other flavors and found them kind of odd combinations, and stick with the mint now. Marvis is the only brand of toothpaste I use!

Burst of Icy Mint Coolness!! Tastes great, fights cavities, best breath
freshener, beautiful vintage packaging, what more could you want?
This is my toothpaste and a little goes a long way. I've tried lots of
others and nothing compares to the Marvis flavors. I'll continue to buy this brand.

Comments about Marvis Toothpaste, Classic Strong Mint, 3.86 oz:
Higher % of Fluoride compared to regular brands. After using daily for 2 months, my dentist said that my teeth have really improved. This toothpaste does not have an aftertaste or leave a 'sour' feeling in the mouth. I've tried many brands and this is the best. If you like MINTYflavors, this and the spearmint flavor will satisfy the most fussy mint addicts! Well worth the cost since you only need a little and a regular tube lasts a long time!
This cleans really well. And your breath will smell great for hours after using!
