You put these beads in a new vaccuum cleaner bag when you attach it. They smell lovely and make vaccuuming more pleasant. There is a mild aroma for a little while after vaccuuming, then it goes away. I thought it was expensive, but the bottle lasted a long time. I bought it again.

Not happy with this purchase. The beads smell when you open the cute jar, when you put them in the vacuum, and maybe once or twice you can smell them when vacumming, but they certainly don't leave a lavendar smell around the house - at all. Messy to deal with 20 little balls rolling around everywhere, too. A better idea than reality. I stopped using them in the vacuum and ended up using them in my kitchen garbage can instead - it does seem to help keep that smell nice. So, if you get these - get them for your garbage, not for your vacuum canister.

These are wonderful! They make the room smell so good while you are vacuuming, and they last until you have to change the bag. I have a dog, and there is no more stinky dog smell from the hair in the vacuum. I love them!
