The original lip plumper! Make your lips full, luscious and bee-stung - naturally. Lip Venom uses pure essential oils of cinnamon, ginger and wintergreen to stimulate circulation, plus jojoba & avocado oils for moisture and shine. |
$16.00
Lip Venom was the very first lip plumper on the market, creating the lip plumping category for the beauty industry. The tingly gloss uses essential oils to enhance lips' natural color and shape by increasing circulation. The result: fuller bee stung lips.
The secret behind Lip Venom is a blend of essential oils, which include cinnamon, wintergreen, and ginger, that cause the blood to rush to the surface of the lips, flushing and swelling them slightly. The gloss also includes jojoba and avocado oil that moisturize and give the lips intense shine. You end up with a shiny, naturally rosy pout that cannot be achieved by wearing ordinary lip gloss.
get stung. DuWop Lip Venom is sulfate-free, petro-chemical-free, fragrance-free, dye-free, free of pthalates, no GMO's, no PPG's, no MEA's DEA's, TEA's, is formaldehyde-free, and triclosan-free. DuWop does not use animal testing on any of their products. |

I LOVE this. A lot of people might be turned off by the tingling and burning sensation of this, but i actually like it. And I like the natural red color it gives your lips, which is one of the reasons I love this so much. It won't give you Angelina lips, but it will make your lips look just a bit fuller. I wouldn't recommend it, though, if you have incredibly dry or chapped lips, or if you plan on kissing someone any time soon. They may not appreciate the burn as much as you do...

I hate this plumper. I don't have the thinnest lips in the world but I would like my lips to have added plumpness and fullness. Not only is this tube really small & the price really high for such a small tube but it also was not justified in paying such a price at all because it doesn't work. It irritated the skin around my lips, causing redness, and the uncomfortable tingle of the cinnamon caused a couple of cold sore breakouts (I gave this product a couple of chances to work before throwing it away), making me DOUBLY unhappy. There are a great many other lip plumpers out on the market today that work much better, many of which don't cause discomfort or irritation. In my experience, lip plumping serums which contain palmitoyl oligopeptide work well to plump lips (they take time for cumulative effects, at least 3-4 wks, so don't expect immediate results). I don't recommend DuWop lip plumper to anyone. However, DuWop does make a so-called "plumping" lipstick line called Shades Of Venom which I LOVE for the quality of the lipstick not for the tingling (which this lipstick also causes thanks to the cinnamon ingredient). "Nightshade" is a great sheer glossy red, and "Larkspur" is a lovely sheer opalescent mauve. I love those lipsticks.

Comments about DuWop Original Lip Venom Tingly Lip Gloss, Clear, .12 oz:
I love Lip Venom, I love the tingle, the burn, the sting...it's just like how I love a really super hot habanero sauce...you have to love that after burn to appreciate Lip Venom. If you are wimpy with spice in food, you will most likely be wimpy with this too. The plumping effect is real, and it does give a nice flush to the lips. But I will admit that it doesn't last that long, I don't mind reapplying throughout the day though since I love the effect so much. I've been using this for over 10 years and will continue to use it as long as it's sold.

I was hoping for more bang for the buck on this one. Didn't see much of a difference before and after usage. It's super sticky so I can't really use it with other lip colors.

Comments about DuWop Original Lip Venom Tingly Lip Gloss, Clear, .12 oz:
I really think Lip Venom is a must-have for anybody who is dating. I haven't found another product like it for super sexy, wet-looking lips. I happen to like the tingly sensation that it gives. That being said, it does wear off fairly quickly, but the tube is tiny, so it's easy to slip it into your purse or pocket and re-apply. I can't say that it really makes my lips plumper...I put it on last, right before I go out the door, but it is really an amazingly sexy look, plumper or not.

Did not plump up my small lips at all. Had a nice glossy look but can get those results with gloss alone at a much cheaper price. Not impressed at all. Very unsatisfied and should get a refund.

Comments about DuWop Original Lip Venom Tingly Lip Gloss, Clear, .12 oz:
I had a hard time rating this. It's not a horrible product by any means. It did not make my lips look or feel even remotely fuller, but I wasn't expecting a miracle there. I really love the way it smells, sort of spicy and sweet, and the way it feels on my lips. It doesn't make them burn or tingle, but they do feel... slightly warmer, I guess. It looks nice and glossy, but doesn't feel like a traditional lip gloss, more like a balm. It even enhances your lips natural color, which is nice. However, this is a tiny amount of product for the money. The tube, excluding the cap, is about the size of a AA battery. So while I do like the product, I don't think it's worth paying what I did for it. Especially when it didn't do what it said it would at all (not even a little bit). I'll enjoy it while I have it, but I probably won't ever buy it again.
