I got this to use with Prescriptives Virtual Matte foundation. Based on the reviews I thought it would be a nice lightweight powder that offered a little color since I bought too light a color in foundation. Since I have oily skin I need my powder to help control shine but it did nothing for shine control. It also caked up a bit around my nose and anywhere I got oily. I had to return this one.

I use Nars Beach pressed powder and it is perfect for my colouring. I was confused when I recently tried to purchase that shade again and discovered that it had vanished.
After going through the other colours I finally chose 'Eden'. When I received it I realised that it was slightly lighter than 'Beach' and I am not as satisfied with the result as I was with 'Beach'.
If there is going to be a colour adjustment it would help if the new colours had indications on the product page that it could be used by customers who used 'beach'!

I tossed out a different brand lately because it made me look pasty. I have pink undertones to my skin and most powders are too yelllow. This one is perfect, and feels like silk. I am going to get a better foundation to use with it because it deserves a better one to go over!

I love this pressed powder. I also bought the loose powder, but I definitely prefer the pressed powder more than the loose. I have oily but very sensitive skin. Usually, other pressed powders dry out certain areas of my skin and look caked-on. But this powder went on so smoothly and made my face look so finished but not cakey. It was fantastic...I would definitely recommend it more than the loose powder, plus you can take this slim package with you. Just great!

This is one of the best powders I've ever used.
The texture is lightweight but lasting, and makes my skin look and feel so pretty. It absorbs oil and keeps my skin looking fresh all day.
