I like the feel of this lipstick & the color is barely there nudish. When first examining the stick it looks like its really dark but goes on way paler. It feels like vincent longo but the stick doesn't break off in the dispenser; which is a good thing. Keeps pucker soft but never sticky or dry feeling. I love it.

moisturizing, but color fades fast
Bought this in Honey. The color is pretty, but it doesn't last. However, the moisture remains after the color fades, and it is more effective than the usual bargain lip balm.

Comments about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15, Honey, .13 oz:
I've used this for years and love it! It's moisturizing, has sunblock, and the Honey is a warm, natural tint that I have received many compliments on. I often buy two at a time to make sure I always have one handy.

Comments about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15, Honey, .13 oz:
I am a natural redhead and am blessed with the pale pinkish skin and freckles. I was looking for a lipstick color that wasn't too dramatic that I could wear everyday. That is quite a challenge for someone with my complexion. I saw this lipstick in an article about celebrities with red-hair, so I decided to give it a try. Well it was exactly what I was looking for! It's a nice brownish color that is moisturizing and glossy. My only complaint like that of every other lipstick is the staying factor. This one comes off easily when eating or drinking.

Comments about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15, Honey, .13 oz:
I like to wear this product over a regular lipstick of a duller color; it enhances the color (brighter) and makes it moister so that it lasts longer. I use Laura Geller's Lip Heal, Seal & Shine for the same reasons, and Elizabeth Arden's works significantly better. I carry one with me in by bag for instant sun protection & a nice suggestion of color.

Comments about Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15, Honey, .13 oz:
I used this product years ago and kind of forgot about it as other lipstick adventures came and went. Since the 1970's, I have ALWAYS used Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant on my lips before I applied any lipstick so I knew I loved the formula. I came across this by accident and I'm so glad I did. I bought the Honey color - again my old favorite and it is exactly as I remember. Thank you E.A. for not changing what works! It is similar to a lip gloss but not sticky, the color is just a hint. It make you look polished not overdone. It works well over and/or under other lipsticks, glosses or lip pencils. When I want just a bit more color I layer it over my NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils - just gorgeous!
