I don't normally write product reviews, but Beard Lube has made a huge difference in the quality of my shave each day. I have a heavy beard and used to have a lot of bumps and redness, especially on the neck. This product totally elminated the redness, bumps and razor burn. It is not a heavy foamy product, which took a little while to get used to, but the results speak for themselves. My skin doesn't feel dry and tight after my shave becasue the product leaves my skin feeling very conditioned and smooth. I will never go back to my old shave cream. My wife now steals this to shave her legs.

I have sensitive and oily skin, neither of which work well with many shaving products. I typically use a pre-shave oil, sensitive skin shaving cream, then an aftershave especially to prevent razor bumps and ingrown hair. Still after trying a free sample of Jack Black Beard Lube and having a decent shave with it, I decided to buy an entire tube.
It does smell great and after a few minutes on the face, it starts to tingle. I also like how easy it is to see where you still need to shave.
Unfortunately, it doesn't provide a close shave, but even worse causes razor bumps and ingrown hairs. While an all in one shave product is a great idea, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin.

As an Army guy that has to shave everyday, it can be painful and irritating. I had always used foam shave from where ever I could find. I bought this based on a review in GQ and have never looked back. It takes a couple of times to get used to shaving with a clear liquid, but after that, no complaints. My face is more smooth than it has ever been and the closeness makes it so I don't need to shave twice a day. I highly recommend this product. Must order Today. My husband loves his Beard Lube and he is not a product guy. For years he's dealt with angry red bumps on his chin and neck. I have been pushing products on him in attempts to help soothe the skin. Beard Lube has done the trick, he uses it to shave in the shower with a mach 5 razor and his skin is soft and smooth with little to no irritation.

This shaving cream is really great for moisturizing the face and preventing razor burn on the neck. And much better for the environment without those aluminum cans that most products are sold in. Very natural scent - not perfumy or strong.
